Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I would like to have had a bit more verity for the continental breakfast. I did not see hot water for tea also.
The locations of breakfast was good.

The breakfast is seriously lacking. Most people want protein each meal. The breakfast had no meats or eggs. The breakfast only had muffins, bagels, bread, cereal, orange juice, and coffee. HIGHLY recommend eggs, sausage, or bacon with maybe some hash browns. A waffle bar would have also been a nice touch.

Would like to have had a better view of the mountains.
Two bathrooms was awesome. Was clean and easy to check in and out. The bedroom loft was really cool but the two bathrooms for us was fantastic.

Breakfast wasn't great, no fresh fruit out and no gluten free options. The food eggs,sausage. pastries were good. layout of area poor long lines for the toaster. other than that it was a basic breakfast and glad we had that.

The air conditioner and heat unit were in a closet in the bedroom. So you had to listen to that all night. Their was a pink stain on the carpet. Not even a soda machine, the place had nothing in it. The staff were very limited I had an emergency and I needed to check out quickly and it took to long. I would not stay there again .

Never saw another person. No staff was onsite. Even though the listing said check-in was at 5, we arrived at 5 and the office was closed with a sign on the door that said the office closes at 4 and for how to get the room key. This is an area with NO cell service though so I could not call. I had to drive to another hotel where a front desk attendant called for me to figure out how to get the key. This whole experience created anxiety and made for a very uncomfortable beginning. Also no breakfast. The picture on the ad does not look like the room we received.
Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable.

No breakfast, snack machines were taken out and never replaced, nothing open, think my husband and I got food poisoning from one of the onsite restaurants. There was nothing within an hr drive. There was no one available after eight pm. If you are there during the week the desk leaves at four and weekends eight. You have to call another hotel for anything after that time. They can’t get you anywhere but can try to answer questions of where to go. The mountain bike trails are definitely for the more advanced. If you are staying in the lodge part it is just rooms you have to go outside and walk to the desk when they are there. If you have a need after they leave for the day you just have to wait till they come back in the next day.
It had a place for us to store our bikes.

Personal service is basically not existent. You have to be lucky to meet one at reception. The breakfast was even by US standards appalling. Food was brought in in street clothes from a filthy kitchen. What was on offer beyond coffee is cannot be mentioned in detail, because there wasn’t any. The price charged was out of question compared to what was offered.
The room was nice, modern and clean. The parking on the ground floor below convenient. A remote control for the TV was missing. May be by design. I couldn’t ask someone, because there was nobody when I was on site. I managed without for the time I was in.

Breakfast was poor, ( not eggs and not protein ) Card key fail to open out room. We went out to the village and in our way back we stopped by to get pizza. Then we got to our room and key didn’t work, about 9pm front desk was close we called the number that was in front of the door and never answered. Thanks God the guy from the pizza ( very nice guy ) helps us to get in. He had to find different way because his key didn’t work either. We had to eat our pizza in the corredor outside our room while we wait for more than 1hr. Without the nice person in the pizza we wouldn’t be able to get in our room.
In our first time in snowshoe, we had a good time in the village. Village is great, bus very close, hotel location is good, good baths, the space was perfect!
