Noisy air conditioning

You get what you pay for. A simple clean room with a comfortable bed. Owner was very pleasant and friendly. For me the location was key and everything I needed was only a short drive away.

We would have appreciated easily opening windows, a kettle and a second chair.

Although old, the rooms had modern comfort and were very clean. We appreciated the homey feeling and the nice owners. The motel is situated on a state road, but it is relativy calm at night. The creek and bushes with the signing frogs at night helped us sleep.

I wasn’t aware of how to set the AC (or that I would have to) ahead of time, and it took me a while to figure out how, I almost went out and slept in my car because i was so uncomfortable with no AC. (However, once I did figure it out it was very comfortable.)

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Room was very nice and had a minifridge and a microwave. Bathroom was small but had soap and plenteous towels.

the window airconditioner is loud. the room door only had a handle lock, no dead bolt and it needed weatherstripping .

it was very inexpensive. good location only 15 minutes away from a wedding at West Point we were there to attend. It was clean and it had nice big cable tv and the bathroom had new fixtures

They are gradually updating the place, but the bathrooms are a little older. Still, they are functional and clean.

The people that run this little motel are very friendly and helpful. The room was plain, but comfortable and clean, and had an A/C heat unit in it. We always stay here when we come to NY for reunions.

Median in toad made it tricky to get in and out of. Maybe (?) recently paved parking lot?! Buckets and garbage cans to maneuver around.

Fridge and microwave available. Short walk to restaurant/bar. Close to downtown Cornwall.

Fire alarm went off at 6am, took a while for the staff to come shut it off, in countered some issues with the lock (but was quickly resolved by staff)

Sheets were dirty and placed on the bed inside out as if to hide the dirty sheet. Towels also had stains. Air conditioner was very loud and difficult to control.

The bathroom was old, needs remodeling, but I realize that takes lots of money. It did serve its purpose.

It was a very good price and the room was plain but clean. We got in rather late and my sister had no cash and was very hungry, so the man at the front desk gave her a KitKat, which saved her (and me!) Thanks!

When i first got here. nobody knew i was coming that day i had to get someone to call and ask questions about my booking. got that done went to the room. smelled like tobacco smoke. very dirty. shower was very off from the photos. asked for another room got a way better room smelled cleaned. and got a new bathroom. wasn't the room i asked for and asked for a room i saw on the website. and put it on hold and it was that musty gross small bathroom, not what i wanted. then he didn't give me my key. had to go back and fourth multiple times to get my key. i would still come again just not in spring season.

i loved the bathroom very easy to walk around windows. a nice view of the dumpsters saw all the little animals playing and having fun. they were very nice touch. thank you. good location. went to the George Washington headquarters museum. very quite even though your on a highway. would come back if it was summer. it was very cold in the room from the bathroom. the A/C Heater was a help for sure. had it hot during the day and cold at night. Front desk was very nice and helpful. thank you! Got to discover 8 Towns in the Hudson River Area! WiFi was amazing free and no password! TV was great everything worked. doors look very old but they lock at night.

The room is overpriced. Bed frames / mattress will move very easily when you are on Bed. No Breakfast, quality of beds was not great, bathroom was very small and not in good shape. There is no much interaction as the reception is a detached from the rooms at property and I personally would not recommend for the listed rate / night, it seems like over priced.

Location was good as this was on the drive of our itinerary.
