We found a small roach on the desk and the shower head made a noise the entire time.

The lobby was nice and open and smelled great. They had a great space for breakfast and the food variety was great. Staff was friendly and communicated well throughout our stay.

The pillows were a bit small and flat, and the down comforter was not in great condition.

Very nice, clean and convenient. The room was larger than I expected, so that was nice. The staff was amazing, so friendly, and always smiling. We will def stay here again next time we need to stay in Madison.

We could have had the correct room when first got there.

Jacki the lady at the desk was great. At first we did not have the room we requested. We wanted a handicap cap room with out a tub and one king size bed. We started on the 3rd floor with a tv remote that did not work and a tub. Then she put us on the 2nd floor and we still had a remote that didn’t work and a tub. So when we went out for the day we told jacki that we still had a tub and the remote didn’t work. And that I was not happy at all. While we were out she called me to tell me she found the correct room on 1st floor without a tub and the remote worked. So when we got back to the hotel we had what we requested. She went above and beyond to help take care of us. The breakfast was really good. And the hotel was clean, quiet and easy to get to. Very appealing when you first walk in the doors. You can notice the cleanliness and the smell was great. We will for sure stay there again. The room was very clean and appealing and quiet at night.

On the first night, we were given a room that did not match what I had requested. Fortunately, the front desk person switched to the type of room that I requested the following day.

I really like the location because it is in a very quiet area of Madison, yet it is minutes away from downtown.

To be honest I’m not a neat freak but this hotel needs a deep cleaning. The pool was scummy, there was some kind of sandy material in the bottom of the hot tub, the carpeted stairs in the lobby really need to be cleaned, and all windows need to be wiped down. Also the waffle makers really need to be cleaned.

The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. Having tennis gear available at the front check-in area was a nice perk. The breakfast options were really good and cookies and lemon water available at check-in was a nice touch. I liked the convenient location of the hotel and the ‘backyard’ scenery and walkway.

The shades did not work properly and the room could have been cleaner.

We liked the location with the pond and walkway behind the hotel which brought us to a delightful restaurant bar with an outdoor patio exactly what we hoped to find! We did get upgraded to a suite with additional couch sleeper - perfect in case of occasional sleep issues!
