Good room and location but the ‘bistro’ is just some chairs and tables in reception . A huge queue to buy something for breakfast so we didn’t bother.

Wish you can get to the second floor of parking from the building instead of walking on the street and walking in the garage. My room has a mix of muddy and cleaning tool smell

The bed was massive and super comfortable. Also, the view from our room on the 8th floor was spectacular. The hotel was in one of the most historical buildings of Amarillo.

The bed was a little lumpy and too low to the ground. That being said, I understand that a handicap rooms bed is required to have a lowered bed.

Usually when you pay over $200 a night you get a better refrigerator or at least one that works and more toiletries like they gave 1 tiny soap bar and 1 face wipe, and there was no microwave and our iron was broken the pillows were uncomfortable just flat pillow cases and the same for my son's room. And the bistro was ridiculous it was a 1 man show so the wait was about 40min to get our order. So we paid for 2 nights for 2 rooms $820 +any extras they will add.

It was conveniently located near the civic center where we were attending a graduation.

Please don’t use feather pillows. They are a known allergen and can ruin a persons stay by causing severe allergy symptoms such as swollen eyes stuffy head and runny nose.

The breakfast service was terrible and the food although well written menu descriptions is just microwaved eggs etc. Not even near fresh. We spent almost an hour from sitting to getting served our D- food. Other options available but the front desk gave the recommendation to have breakfast there. We will probably stay at the hotel but would not eat on premises again

The attached bistro was expensive, and the girl working it was impatient and rude. We just went over 600 miles on the motorcycle and were hungry and cold. She didn't make the situation better.

This is a comment, not a criticism. The hotel is in a converted office building, so the rooms are a little bit wonky. I had to squeeze in to get over the sink to brush my teeth.

Jami "with an i" checked me in and got me oriented. She was happy to see me, sent me to a great Italian restaurant, and made sure I knew to be off the street by the time the crowd hit a neighborhood club having 18 and up night. After a long day and a road trip, it was so pleasant to be greeted by someone who actually cares. When I got back from dinner with my dessert, Jami made sure I had a carton of milk to go with it. Because of her, the Courtyard by Marriott will be the place I'm staying on my next trip to Amarilllo. Pass on to management that this lady deserves a raise!

We had a room at very high floor, but somehow still could hear the noise from the street. Not good value for money.
