The pool area was a little less than what we were expecting. The floor is uneven in the pool area so our first night I was with my boys and because I wasnt swimming I walked to the outdoor area they had swam to (there is a small "canal" you can swim through to go from inside to outside) but on the way I stepped into a pretty deep puddle that caused my shoe and sock to get soaked. Very unpleasant, you couldn't see the water because of the proximity of the puddle to the door, and the fact that the lighting in there is poor, which made it nearly impossible to tell there was a puddle until you stepped in it. I wasn't the only one. The "hot" tub was lukewarm at best, and everything is very, very dated.

I liked Leonard, the maintenance man who is also running the kitchen in the morning. He was very pleasant and had a great playlist playing softly during breakfast.k He kept the hot items hot and fresh and the cold items cold while keeping everything in the space clean and tidy. The service at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean and comforable, and I liked the fact that the ice machine was centrally located on the 1st floor and there was a coffee/tea station on the 1st floor as well that was well stocked and available 24/7.

Hotel is in need of repairs. Ceiling was falling down in our room. Carpets were dirty and socks got dirty when you walked on carpet.

The floor around the pool area was disgusting. All around it, there were puddles of moldy water! It needs to be hosed down from time to time and the pool was freezing

The breakfast bar was not clean and on Wednesday they ran out of bowls, so no cereal, so everything else ran out. There was no juice, only coffee We requested daily housekeeping. But we ran out toilet paper and to get if from the front desk

They might need a new ventilation system or something for the pool area. Our room was humid as hell and we weren’t near the pool and our AC was running 24/7. Everything in our room felt damp the whole time.

I didn’t like the night time front desk person. We arrived late at night around 12:30am! He was definitely rude! And definitely wasn’t a pleasant person.

Clean! Really good price for room. good breakfast! Cook made sure everyone had fresh food. He was very attentive to the guest.

The room was not the cleanest with a couple of really sticky spots in the carpet and signs of wear and tear. Facilities are outdated. Sofa-bed was not ready when we arrived, upon asking on reception we were given linen to make the bed ourselves.

For a senior male the low toilets can be a problem. The free brekfast was lacking as are many other breakfasts. High calorie HIgh sodium food and tasteless coffee high fructose juices. On one occassion there was no milk.

The King room had a very comfy kingsize bed. The room was clean. Sue was a delight at checkin and checkout.

Can't be helped but the neighbors were top 3 loudest I've ever encountered in a hotel from 3am-5am. Definitely a party up in thurrrr. I'm not a narc so didn't say anything. If GF had been awake, though, shed have been upsetttttt and possible worried. Saw some prom parties too. Go get em kids!

Overall, my biggest complaint is that the very average room was too expensive. Freeway close, so not near the beach or walking streets. Our room was in the corner, so we had only 1/2 the window that other rooms have, and the indoor lighting was gray and dingy; very depressing. The phone didn’t work, so why have one?! The exterior was in need of repair and paint.
