We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesI came in and pulled back the sheets found a bunch of hair and a turd under the sheets. Bed wasn’t the softest either and pillows were mediocre. Got a new room and the blinds didn’t close all the way microwave had stuff in it splattered on the top and a hole in the shower.
Had a good location and very nice staff to greet you and a nice restaurant in the lobby.

United StatesBooked through bookings.com and paid before I arrived. Then, at check-in, they asked for my card for incidentals and charged me an additional $200. Up in the room, I discovered the charge, and they assured me it would be fixed....that was Sunday, the 15th. Today is Wednesday the 18th, and the money still has not been refunded. I have emailed and gotten no response to date either. I realize "business days" could be a factor on refund. However, I feel it shouldn't have happened and should have been fixable immediately as the new charge went straight to me card, not through a third party such as booking.com This put an unnecessary strain on my travels and left me wondering about booking there ever again. Also, breakfast is a restaurant, not part of your stay.

CanadaI’d have provided a better rating if the room cleaning was on point or done better. As it was only done 1 day out of 3 and was only for towel replacement and making the bed. The bathroom unfortunately was never cleaned.
The Place is cool and cleaner compared to others. The reception team was super friendly and accommodating.
