Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotels really jacked up prices for Texas Tech graduation weekend. I paid $1,000 for two rooms for one night. I know that is the going rate for the weekend, but the hotel wasn’t worth 1k. They didn’t even have a coffee bar for guests in the morning.
It was clean and comfortable.

Mirror in bathroom corroded around edges. Shower flooring deadly slipper and required us to place towel in shower floor to safely shower. The guest in the room above use woke us up early as they were getting ready/showering. Seemed to be a lack of sound proofing and flushing above us was very noticeable. We prefer to sleep in very dark room and a lot of light could be seen coming in from under the door as well as sound. We understood that a continental breakfast was included in our room but that could be a misunderstanding on our part while booking. Why is that the only channel not available for viewing was FOX news. That was an interesting observation. Is that an intended choice? We are avid viewers of FOX many mornings and found it a bit disappointing FOX was not a viewable channel.
The hotel lobby as well as our room was quite inviting, clean, open, and welcoming. Our room had a unique layout we’ve not had before but it suited us well for the stay. The number of plugs and HDMI charging parts was well thought out for the layout of the room. Overall the room was very clean and perfectly welcoming for our 1-night stay. The front desk staff was pleasant and cheerful upon our arrival. The location of the hotel in is an ideal spot for out of town visitors coming to part-take in local entertainment, sporting events, etc. Easy to find and access. The parking lot is very well lit and we would very much consider staying there again for future trips to Lubbock area.

For the price of the room a continental breakfast would’ve been nice. Our air conditioner didn’t keep the room cool enough. We had to keep lowering the temp on the thermostat
Loved the Texas Tech displays in the lobby. Great sized lobby with plenty of seating. Really liked the outside patio area. Liked the lobby bar

The neighborhood around the hotel is a bit scary, but the parking lot was well-lit and I felt safe in the hotel. Not a place to mosey around the neighborhood, though.
Great location, nice lobby, very modern/clean rooms with ample space in bedroom and bathroom (we had a double queen bed room). Nice A/C, quiet. Starbucks coffee is always a plus. We ordered breakfast and they were out of fruit/yogurt, but said they would make some for us, and they did! I've stayed here a few times when visiting Lubbock, always nice. I'll stay again!

Reserved room 8 MONTHS in advance to attend football game. Flew 2000 miles, drove 5 hours paid over $300 as hotel raised rates for this one night. Got to hotel and they sold my room. They were overbooked. Gave no warning. Showed up with no where to stay. Missed half the game. Why did they give away my room. They were overbooked. WTF!!!

Housekeeping was not avaliable. Bad services on Housekeeping. We requested Housekeeping on arrival however nothing was clean or beds made throughout our stay for 4 night. Trash cans full, no toiletries, no clean towels, beds not made. Dog barking. Breakfast should be included.
