The room was booked for 4 people. There were towels for only 3 people. When we called for more towels we had to go to front desk to get them and more toilet paper. Also, breakfast was not included in room charge.

10 minutes to providence, 30 minutes to Newport. Large rooms and close to each other. Balcony to sit on overlooking parking lot. Room very dark at night. Free water bottles for rooms.

I think I covered that. I might mention that with the construction the entrance to the place was (late in the evening) almost unrecognizable on top of the fact that the proper street sign is almost completely hidden in the shrubs. I know the construction effort took out your sign but get them to prop up a spray painted sheet of plywood. Get creative, Find a young person good at graffiti and pay a few bucks! Your website should mention all this. Appearances leave me to believe this is not just a few weeks duration.

The breakfast was a joke! A continental breakfast at many locations. The breakfast offered amounted to taking the definition to the extreme minimal limits. You have a kitchen there! Design a simple that can be whipped up in a hurry. Such as some Hash brown patties and sausage, (nuke both from frozen then flash fry in the same pan that you can the whip up some scrabbled eggs). You have the kitchen there though I do not know how much. True it would thus mean maintaining regular staffing such that at least one (There was a Staff of 2 young woman when I went there) who knew there way around the food preparation. I can't recall her name. I do know that her Dad is a retired USMC from our conversation as she mixed my drink. You should appreciate her well!

Was not told the pool or hot tub wouldn’t be working until we got there. As someone with a child looking forward to it, would have been nice to at least get some Notice before check in so I could make other plans for the night or a dinner reservation.

Breakfast had very limited options - only bagel cream cheese and a muffin. Although breakfast was included in our stay the lady at the bar refused to give us unless we showed to her our bill receipt. It was very derogatory.

Booking said breakfast was included but staff said it was just a $15 off promo. They raised the promo to $30 but it still cost me $30+ even after the promo was applied. They should have honored the full amount. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were hollow. The chair in our room could have been more clean as well; stains on the seat and sides. The elevator inspection expired in 2022 with no updated paperwork indicating it had been recently inspected.

Happy to learn the pool was reopened. Staff was friendly. Chef at breakfast was very kind to our kids. He even offered extra potatoes at no cost. Room was clean.

1. the bath drain and plug in room 330 are not sealing and one needs to keep faucet running whilst taking a bath - shocking neglect by a company of Marriott’s stature! 2. I appreciated the Launderette on L2. Surely the manager must know to keep a supply of quarters for guests?! instead staff look flustered when one ask for quarters! 3. The Bistro is a dismal attempt at being one despite the great layout and general concept. I ask for burger - oh, we are out of burgers. soup? oh, that takes an hour go heat it up. ok, what about wings ( for $13!) Really now…

First, walking into the place there was rats running by the front door. I asked the front desk for pillows and towels never received them. The pool, the spa was closed when it said it was open.
