The hot tub was cold the first night and really needed it to relax after a long day driving. Was told let it run it will warm up. Ran for an hour before giving up to no heat. Repeat nights it was great, almost too hot! Other guests are inconsiderate as for slamming doors but out of hotel's control. Valet parking is quite expensive for what it is.

Good location. Enjoyed the environment. Treated very well. Valet parking was good and efficient but the car was parked outside and one valet moved my seat making it difficult to get in.

I hate to criticize, I really love this hotel. But in the interest of full disclosure I will nitpick a little. While technically ADA compliant, the lobby and the elevators are on different levels with a service elevator up to the first floor from the lobby. Possible but time consuming and difficult. There was no microwave in the room, the drain plug in bathtub wouldn't allow for a bath, and the bathroom tissue was very poor quality. Pool temperature was good, but the hot tub wasn't hot. In spite of these things I keep going back. They treat me very well, and I love the beautiful old building.

I really love this lovely old hotel, I stay there a few times a year. The staff is always friendly and helpful, beds and bedding are comfortable and clean, shower is hot and spacious enough for even the tallest people. Hot beverages in the lobby and good food at the lower level Bistro. The smoking area is conveniently located although without shelter. Their valet service is awesome!!

The hotel could offer complimentary breakfast or leave the restaurant. We went to an event in the city and was starving when we got back to the hotel. There was nowhere to order food. It would have been nice to be able to order room service.

We have all stayed in many hotels and were surprised by the spaciousness of the room and the cleanliness. The upkeep on the amenities was beyond expectation, and the staff was courteous and helpful. We will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

It's an old building. Hallway carpets are loose, pool is freezing in the winter months. But I really love staying here, if it weren't so pricey I would do it more often.

I love the architecture, it's an historic building, old and interesting. Beds are clean and comfy, rooms quiet and restful. Nice pool and whirlpool, nice smoking lounge outdoors. Good food at the bistro, as well. Valet parking service is excellent!!

They often run out of coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby, unreliable hours for the restaurant on site. Lobby not easily handicap accessible.

Love the location, facilities are okay. Bedsare comfortable with enough pillows. Valets are top notch.

Pool was too cold to swim, hot tub wasn't hot, no hot water in shower during high demand morning hours. Difficult for handicapped folks to access the rest of the hotel from the main lobby, housekeeping staff didn't speak English, making requests difficult. Restaurant opened late every meal I was there, sometimes by an hour or more. Very high prices for what you're getting. Paid extra for a hotel with a pool, so slightly disappointed, but would stay there again if the price is right
