First room was groundfloor (directly on public walkway) (they changed it based on my complaint) but am wondering why this room was given to a single traveler.

I had an oceanfront room. My friends had an ocean view room. OMG! What a difference! My room was huge with a huge balcony and gray view of the ocean. My friends in the oceanview room had a tiny cramped room with a balcony so small only one person could see the ocean when sitting out there and the two of them could barely fit out there at all with 2 small chairs and a small table. Plus most of their view was blocked by a volleyball net and people playing volleyball. If you don’t book an oceanfront room don’t waste your money here, stay some place else because you will be extremely disappointed! Everything else was great but their room was just awful for the price and flying so far. We flew from Florida l!

There is a reef very close to the beach which made it very difficult to swim in the sea.

The room was huge and the view out across the ocean was fantastic. We often saw humpback whales breaching in the distance.

Your pool was freezing cold. Hardly anyone was in it. Certainly not me or my wife.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Complimentary bicycles, pool tables, etc. Were great.

The air conditioner was extremely loud making it difficult to sleep at times. The bathroom floor was peeling and parts of the bathroom appeared dirty.

I liked the options for rentals such as bikes and beach chairs, the location was great, staff was so friendly and incredibly helpful. Kyle gave us great recommendations for places to see!

As a guy sitting on the toilet was undesirable as my "stuff" touched the water. The beach view was at an angle and barely enough room for 2 people on the deck. I wouldn't waste the extra money. I felt like the cocktail drinks were made weak. The beach is not what I was expecting for a Beach hotel. Not really setup for beach swimming.

The staff were very nice and knowledgeable. The room was nice. The fish tacos were amazing at the beach bar restaurant. The room was nice and was cleaned daily.

The fact that we arrived at 4pm and our room was still not ready. We waited an additional 45 minutes before the room was ready. We were also supposed to have a King bed but were assigned to a room with 2 queen beds instead. Also, the fact that we requested an upper level room months in advance and again 2 weeks prior only to be assigned a ground level room, and was told no rooms were available on an upper floor. The shower stall didn't look very clean and there was a brown mark on the front of the toilet seat (poop maybe?). I cleaned it off with rubbing alcohol.

The pool, hot tub and amenities, as well as the food ordered by the pool. Loved the view from the room and the cornhole. The hot tub was a nice size and very enjoyable.

Dining was reservation only so no unplanned dinners. Power outage which is no big deal but the previous time also had an alarm issue. This seems to be common here. We missed our first night and were charged full price for it. That’s fine, this is a business but as this was a honeymoon and the delay was unavoidable and communicated in advance it would have been nice to have a little leeway for compassionate charging but ultimately not in their best interest as a business so we understand. This means profits come before customer care so deal with them accordingly is all

Overall the facility is a bit tired especially the guest rooms. The recent makeover was done on the cheap and it shows.

Early open cafe was a plus.

The balcony was a bit small, but nice view. The pool was a bit cool, probably because the weather was a little on the cool side but the hot tub was a nice temperature. The rain made walking around a bit slippery, but the sunshine warmed us up eventually.

We enjoyed the view of pool, courtyard gardens & ocean. The Tiki torches and firepit areas were delightful along with the live music every evening. There was plenty of seating around the pool and access to activities & a nice sidewalk along the beach. Overall very comfortable, clean, with good service and food.

The staff were generally not welcoming and not nice, talking on the phone and doing other things both during check in and check out. My pyjamas were nowhere to be found after housekeeping cleaned the room and nobody seemed to care, which I found very concerning. That things can disappear from the room without any consequence or acknowledgment from the hotel is very concerning- for any hotel, but especially for one charging crazy rates like this one

The location is good, on the beach and easy to drive on either side of the island. The room was nice and comfortable

They mixed up our luggage, our room door entrance system was broken, in generell a bit of a chaos. Due to the riff it is not possible to swim in the sea.

Nice pool area, located directly at the sea and good point to explore the island, big breakfast buffet available, you can borrow bycicles, nice hot tube.
