The pool area could use a thorough cleaning and the outside front should be swept daily.

The staff were amazing. They were welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. Every time you walked in or out they had a smile and a kind word.

The hotel does not have microwaves in the rooms. It also lacks free parking.

The room was not as clean as I feel like it should have been. There was also a roach that we saw and my husband thought he killed but it ran away.

The toilet was made for a six year old. It was very low to the floor and not useful to a 75 year old. We had to request a handicap room which they did. They said that they would meet us at the new room. They never showed up to let us in the room. Luckily a cleaning woman finally let us in.

We asked around 6pm to receptionnist to order a taxi for 5 am the next day and reconfirmed with evening receptionist. Notes were left by receptionists as it is the night receptionist who orders taxi. At 5 am Saturday morning, no taxi and we had to phone after night receptionist gave us a phone number. Taxi arrived 30 minutes later. We should have been told the method to order cab--ghost cab by the way. Very troublesome for us who had to catch a plane early morning.

I reserved a room with a king size bed and sofa bed. I called that morning to MA sure room was paid for and available. When I get to the hotel I'm 1st given a room with just a king size bed. I have to go back downstairs and tell the person at the desk that I reserved a king with sofa bed. She checks and has me wait for a little while then tells me that the room isn't available. I wanted that particular room because I wanted space. We were in town for a 3 day volleyball tournament and I wanted myself and the kids to be comfortable. I had to settle for 2 double beds. It was late and the kids were tired and because so much was going on in town there were no other options for us to get another room. I was told that I should have received a phone call letting me know that the room wasn't available. I didn’t receive a call from anyone. I reserved exactly what I needed and called to make sure to get there and not have what I reserved was annoying and unprofessional because no one called me.

There were too few (none) restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The evening food choices at the bar/restaurant were minimal.

Staff was excellent, especially Celina at the Bar/Restaurant. She was extremely friendly and made our time spent in that lounge area very enjoyable.

The bathrooms on the Lobby level (all stolls in the Ladies Room) weren't working! They were discovered one day and had to be reported the second day. We arrived at 4:30 pm and 2 out of 3 rooms weren't ready which created a problem that resulted in 4 women having to get dressed in one room to rush out for dinner reservations.

The hotel is rennovated and the rooms are great. Unlike many previous reviews, I highly recommend the hotel as the location is great (within walking distance to hop on hop off) and the price is more than fair!!
