creaky floors, paper thin walls. my bedroom #2 on the first floor faced the kitchen, which means that the room was flooded with light whenever one of the other guests turned on the kitchen lights. Additionally, and this isn't the fault of the owner, my fellow guests were incredibly inconsiderate. They stumbled in at 1:30 am and proceeded to talk to each other as if no one else was staying at the property. That went on for two hours! I will say that ownership should post signage to keep noise levels down especially in the middle of the night.So just consider how badly you need a cheap place to stay, because you can't pick your house mates.

The shower didn’t work at all and there was hardly any water that came out of the faucet, splashed a little water on me and decided I was done.

Rule notice in bathroom to put used toilet paper into a bucket near the toilet, not to flush toilet paper down. Bucket was stained brown on bottom, unpleasant to witness. If this is a house rule it should be stated initially, before renting the room and there should be a picture shown to all potential renters. Also the glass shower door does not securely close, kept swinging open during shower. Needs repair.

Depending on weather rooms might be cold/warm. And a lot depends on how quiet room neighbors are. We were lucky, everyone was quiet at night :) But we had a lovely time - thank you :)

Room was on the smaller side, was fine because we were only staying for one night.

Great location, was easy to get to on public transport as well as being walkable distance from restaurants. Room and common areas were clean.

There were a few things missing that were inconvenient - there was no hand towel in the bathroom, there was only newborn shampoo in the shower, no adult shampoo. The mat in the bathroom is a kitchen mat so after showers the floor gets very wet. Also you aren't allowed to flush toilet paper in the bathroom which is unusual. It would also be great if there was a night light in the living area because it is hard to navigate the common areas to get to the bathroom at night.

Price was good and better than most airbnbs in the area, location is great and close to restaurants in fells point. Directions were clear.

Didn't receive the room pictured. The overall fit and finish was pretty impoverished: my door lacked a knob; the (shared) bathroom was okay but could use a deep clean; some chairs and tables are of the folding sort; and the kitchen had no equipment besides some plates/bows and plastic utensils. If I'd come at a different time, I'm sure the lack of air conditioning would have been a bigger problem.

The bed was good for sleeping in. Room decor was pleasant. Location is the main draw.

It would be a lot easier if the host explained what exactly this place was, I wouldn’t have booked if I knew. It’s 6 rooms that all get rented out. If you’re above the age of 22, just get a hotel. I didn’t sleep more than two hours and left after 1.

First room they assigned us was tiny and reeked of cigarettes and was on ground level (we had paid for a “deluxe room”). They did move us on request to an upper room. Room was spare and small - no night tables, dressers or reading lamps. Also you can hear everything in the other nearby rooms. Kitchen is modern and looks nice in photos but is unequipped so don’t plan on actually cooking. Was expecting more of an upscale hostel vibe but this felt like a rooming house with some permanent residents. We’re not super picky and it was clean enough and worked out ok for what we needed but would definitely not stay again.

Unfortunate things list: 1. The “numbers on the doors” we were to stay in room two , but they put a letter z on the door. Obviously not making any assumptions. We navigated through the house looking for two until they responded to tell us it was the z room. 2. The smell in the room. Cigarette smoke smell mixed with sweaty gym locker smell and body Oder. 3. The bed linen- looks clean but it was harboring the smell of a buttocks that hadn’t been washed in a few days. We removed the pillowcases only to find urine staines on all the pillows!!!!! Health hazard!!!!!! 4. The walls- as my mom and I started to wash the walls with Lysol, they started to bleed yellow from the build up of tar. 5. Cigarette burns in the window seal 6. Mold in the washer 7. The stove requires the use of a lighter to ignite it Overall false advertising. They room we were assigned to sleep in we come to out was not advertised. But the moral of this review is that old adage “ you get what you pay for”
