Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesAs long as you are prepared for outdoor plumbing (that is clean, with hot water, shower and flushing toilet) everything is good!
This place is a gem! Spotless, comfortable and so fun. Many thoughtful touches and opportunity to tour the farm and meet cool animals. Would be such fun for kids too.

The space was very cute, super clean area. The bed was so comfortable. Even though it was a wagon, we were so surprised at how much space there was on the inside. We talked about booking again.

United StatesNothing noted.
Excellent stay. Wonderfully comfortable. Hosts have anticipated every need. Best nights of sleep on a long trip. Beautifully located, quiet and serene with the river. Only one other wagon on the property. No bathroom/shower in the actual wagon, but you have your own associated bathroom/shower and parking space associated with your wagon. Awesome place. Too much to list.

United StatesNot much. It was great. Some people might not like the shifting of the wagon floor, but we thought it added to the charm.
This is the most unique and thoughtful place. Every detail was shared and provided. The air conditioning in a covered wagon and the bath house for each wagon was special. The extras such as camp stove, hammock, camp games, etc. made the visit extra special.

United StatesThere is nothing that could be better! It was great! It might be nice to have a TV tray tucked under the bench seat/bunk to use as a table to eat on/play games when it is raining and you are staying more indoors.
This is, by far, not only the best alternative lodging I have ever had (tree houses, glamping, etc), it rivals the best hotels I've stayed in. The hospitality was incredible. When we arrived, the hosts left us an extension cord in the parking spot, knowing we had an electric car. They erected a tent over the firetable so we could enjoy the outdoors during the rain. We had fun playing the giant connect four while having a glass of wine outside. Inside they left us flowers and cupcakes, knowing my friend was celebrating her birthday. The facilities far exceeded my expectation. The king size bed was outfitted with a beautiful cotton quilt and sheets...the bed was so extremely comfortable. The twin beds were the same. The space was heated and had electricity with a coffee maker (Keurig + coffee) and refrigerator. It was raining hard that day and we enjoyed playing games on the bed and listening to the sound of the rain on the canvas. The bathroom was cleaner than most hotels and had a shower, toilet and sink and was decorated so cute! There is a separate bathroom for each wagon, so you feel you have your own space. It is a 1 minute walk to the river and a picnic table is there so you can enjoy the grassy shore. Lots of outdoor kid toys available, which we thought was so sweet for families. We made breakfast on the well-appointed outdoor stovetop the next morning before cleaning up the dishes in the outdoor sink. I can't say enough good things about this place. Being there while it was raining was magical...don't let the off season keep you away. Sleeping in a warm area with the sound of the river in the distance and the rain on the canvas above is magical. And don't forget to bring your prairie hats for some cute pictures. ; ) I can't wait to go back!

United StatesThe only downfall was we had to leave. We had so much fun, we didn't want to leave.
The location was just beautiful. The Covered Wagons were cozy, clean and extremely comfortable. Sean and Evellyne were AMAZING hosts. I could really appreciate the attention to detail they put into the sites. This puts "Glamping" on a new level!!! You truly have to stay here to appreciate the care and thought they have put in. The bathrooms, were private for each Wagon. The campsites, thoughtfully are planned and laid out amazingly! I loved the hammock, the propane fire pit with the chairs. You can play corn hole, swing on the hammock, play a new version of tic-tac-toe with homemade painted rocks on a tree stump. The also have an over-sized version of "connect four" to keep you occupied. If your little ones want to read, the offer a book barn where you can borrow a book to read and then return it. The string lights around the site added that cozy, relaxing atmosphere at night. I took advantage of sitting by the fire pit sipping a glass of local wine (our wonderful hosts provided a complimentary bottle). I loved the swimming hole, river view, the area to play horse shoes and walking the trail. I'm telling you, this is a must see and experience AIRBNB. You can tour the homestead with the wonderful hosts and feed the animals, see the beautiful garden and just talk and get to know them. I could truly go on and on! We will be back!

United StatesSupply washcloths along with towels? We knew not to expect beach towels for swimming area, but would have liked having them available. Oh--and possibly include in reference book, hiking trails/nature outings. Otherwise perfect!
Hosts thought of everything, leaving fresh drinking water, coffee, etc.--even wine to celebrate our anniversary! Hosts equipped BBQ area, and provided a reference notebook for the area, which we used extensively. They stayed out of sight, with exception of bringing a small basket of fruit from their orchard on Day #2. Bed was very comfortable, and the property was well-equipped for use of swimming hole and picnic. Extremely relaxing!

United StatesJust felt a little disappointed when we drove in. I do realize it's been very cold and rainy so the grounds were not attractive. Driving down to the wagons between the 2 buildings felt very cluttered & messy. That was our first impression. Then when we walked down to the river it felt overgrown with brush like a burn pile. Made me wonder about fire season & safety.
Love the idea of the covered wagon. We weren't able to use the outdoor area at all but, if we had it would have made the stay wonderful. Weather can't be controled and we had a very rainy night! I want to return and book both wagons for a fun filled few days of glamping! They have a swimming hole so you don't have to put anyone in danger on the river and it's fast current.
