Pool was not very clean until our third day there. Second day, the automatic cleaner was plugged in and left in the pool all day, but never moved. They claimed access to the lake but it was very overgrown and difficult to navigate the path. We were unable to get down there and the lake was not visible from the property. Parking spaces were numbered, very convenient when we arrived, but as the place got busier, our space was taken and had to park a little further down the road. Exteriors were a bit overgrown and in need of updating and a good cleaning. The pool needs a handrail on the steps into the water, not easily accessible. Reported a leaking toilet, but there was no response, bathroom floor wet and linoleum lifting, so this was apparently not a new problem.

Comfortable bed, clean kitchen , staff response to some loose boards on deck entrance was adequate. staff came and nailed them down to help prevent tripping. Shower pressure good with plenty of hot water. Quiet and restful.

We came up for Adirondack nationals car show , could not park our truck & trailer on site, but we did have people local on standby, I don’t expect places like this to accommodate trailers & additional vehicles for the stay,please don’t take this as a complaint!

No one in the office and a challenge to pull back out onto the road from the precarious office parking. Our room smelled like something...not cleaning supplies...worse. We used/burned a candle we had brought along for our hosts at our final destination, which helped.

The room was perfect for what we needed, just a good night's sleep on our way to Canada. Our room was cozy, thankfully not beside the pool that was full of people. A real live person picked up when we called to find out where to park. And communication with the owner/manager was superb pre and during our stay.

I would love to stay there again. We were from ct. But felt like we were in another world. It's like camping but a roof over your head. Great times met new friends.

When we checked in the door was wide open. When we tried to close it it wouldnt close. I called to have someone come and look at it and report the issue and the gentleman sounded like I was making it up. He was a little rude saying that there was someone there the night before and they didnt have a problem. He in turn sent someone to fix the door. The gentleman he sent was very nice.

The cabin was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. It was very clean. We loved the outdoor deck and fire pit. All in all everything was very nice

The trek down to the lake was WAY more strenuous than I'd imagined. NOT well marked as to how to get down there for starters. I power walk EVERY DAY 3-4 miles and I'm in good shape. It would be quite a workout for the average person and then some! Carrying a chair makes it much,much harder than informed it would be. I was disappointed that there was NO CHAIRS, nothing to sit on other than a rock! I thought you would have at least a couple of lawn chairs to lay on. Was quite disappointed with no relaxing beach time when beach access was one of the main reasons I booked your place. Still, the entire resort was beautiful, and over all a great place to stay!

Loved the rustic, homey room. All the amenities were great. Very, VERY clean. Loved the refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave., loved being able to sit on porch/table. Would have loved to have a porch heater to sit by like the other cabins. Didn't understand why my cabin was supplied with one.

The room smelled absolutely horrible. It was incredibly musty and it was difficult to breathe. We had to buy air freshener that you hang in your car to out in the room for the second night. The kitchen was fully stocked if you wanted to cook, but had a pod type of coffee maker that didn’t take coffee that you could buy at a grocery store. They provided 2 cups of coffee and the coffee was terrible. There was no coffee for the second day. The coffee maker was the only part of the kitchen that we wanted to use. We had brought coffee but there was no real coffee maker to use. There was also no hair dryer. We hadn’t been told we had to bring one of those. Then the bathroom was plenty big enough but the sink had no counter attached to it so we had to leave our toileties in the other room and go get them one at a time. Pretty inconvenient and not a vacation. There was no staff on the property to complain to or talk to about it. Check in was difficult because limited cell service and limited WiFi didn’t make it easy to find your room. They give you a property map the day of in an email but if you don’t print it out before you leave home you won’t be able to access it from the parking lot. Fortunately another guest helped us find our room. The room numbers are written in black on dark colored backgrounds so you can’t see them on the buildings. Frustrating 2 days at that properly.
