One thing that needs attention is the landscape. Lawn was mowed but the bushes around the front porch need attention and the porch and gazebo need a good cleaning

We only used the bedroom and bathroom. Didn’t even need a fridge. Although we did look inside the guest fridge. Not very clean and the door seal was all coming off.

Strange smell in the common area of the house. I would have appreciated knowing there would be someone else in the house, directly in the room across from the room we were staying in. If I had known this I would have stayed somewhere else. There was no physical address listed on the recent instructions and host did not respond when address was requested. No blow dryer in the home and host did not answer nor respond until we were already in the car and gone. Shower was cold after one person showered. Kitchen counters did not feel clean.

The bed was alittle uncomfortable and it was very loud when you moved at all.

The family was so nice and made us feel comfortable! The pool area was so relaxing! It was an enjoyable experience!

Being that it was late summer, early fall, the temperature was a little warm during the day, but cooler in the evening. I didn’t notice the ceiling fan until the next morning, but if I had, I would have been more comfortable earlier. However, this was entirely my fault, lol.

The family was very welcoming. The children were interesting and friendly. The location was peaceful, but conveniently located.

The route to the location is far from lighted highway/locations, and difficult to find, with unlighted areas and blind turns crossing over lane of traffic on blind curves to get to access roads! The home was dark and unwelcoming at night! We didn’t feel safe anywhere around the area!

The pool was green. They left bathroom rags and towel i would use for cleaning rags. There were other people n the basement that was called staff. The frig was for staff and there was a motel size frig for us with the rubber molding dislodge. The tiny freezer compartment was frozen. There was dirty dishes when we got there and we didn't feel comfortable using kitchen. We were not happy. There was dirty rags hanging n bathroom

Can't think of anything that we didn't like- this was our first "bed and breakfast" stay- so we weren't even sure of what to expect. The only thing that might have been more convenient would have been if the room had its own door so we didnt feel like we were intrusive into the families living space during our coming and goings. (Not that we were made to feel that way- because we were not at all). We just came in relatively late both nights and felt it could have been an inconvenience to the family.

Very accommodating, very friendly. Beautiful location- with all the necessities provided. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, access to the thermostat if desired, extra electric fireplace in the bedroom, personal tv/roku access, breakfast options, coffee, milk, some fresh produce, and more- graciously provided. Access to the kitchen and use of appliances and dishes. And good company!

Location was beautiful. Very off the beaten path. Host family is very friendly. B&B Is new to them. They are learning as they go. But are throwing thier all into it. I would highly recommend a stay with this christian family while you visit the Ark Encounter.
