Great location in a quaint log cabin. Upper level included beds for three children and parents. Downstairs was a small sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. Everything was well laid out and clean! The coffee provided was an added bonus!

It looked prettier on the outside than inside, but I did expect as much. It was v basic. The room had no water and the toilet and shower were in another building - this was mentioned so I knew it before I booked it, to be fair

I liked the location and the idea of staying in a cabin. It looked lovely from the outside. The room was warm. The shower in the outhouse was good.

The bathroom is separate so you have to get dressed and put your coat on to go to the bathroom. Shower head was so low I had to either do a back bend or kneel to wash my hair. Heater didn’t really work or I didn’t know how to turn it on so the cabin was cold. No way to reach anyone cause there’s a sign in the room with a phone number but says only to call between 8am-8pm. I arrived at 9pm and left by 7am so I just bundled up the whole time. There’s a window at the top with no curtains on it so with 20 hours of sunlight it was never dark in the cabin so it made it hard to go to sleep.

Cute little cabin perfect for the night with a few adjustments. Close to Seward. Good WiFi and hot water in the shower.

Restroom floors were soaked, the towel on the floor, and one on the back of the door both soaked through. Made the bathrooms smell moldy. Hard to park a heavy motorcycle on the loose dirt.

When booking, it was not clear that this cabin had no bathroom inside. Had to walk about 100 feet to shared bathrooms. Wish the cabin had regular coffee pot, rather than single use. Wish there was a microwave and a small table to put things on.

Comfortable bed, although one side was jammed ip against wall making exiting difficult for one person. Good price. Shared bathroom was clean.

The heating needed instructions like to turn it on early. It take a while. There is a wall heater under the stairs in the kitchen area and the other is in the bathroom downstairs. We didn’t realize til we were cold that the bathroom heater could be turned up higher to warm the cabin. Other than that we had a wonderful stay!

Wonderful to stay in a cabin with a kitchen and bathroom. The cabin was well maintained and the bathroom was gigantic and downstairs. All beds which were 3 twins and a full or queen were upstairs. So close to Talkeetna and met Heather the owner and she’s on top of communication. Really enjoyed our stay. Cooking our own meals is important and the kitchen is well equipped.

The power went out for a little while randomly late in the evening. That was weird and not fun—we were concerned about the cold. Nobody responded to our calls but I think the other guests got in touch. The power came back on after a bit.

The shower building is super easy to use and warm. The cleaner had no problem letting us stay a few minutes past checkout.

There was an unpleasant smell around the area (it was damp and rainy) which might be from some plants. The price seemed a bit expensive and less value for money for 2 people.

It’s a nice isolated cabin in Talkeetna,and around a 2.5 hour drive from Denali National park. The room was very comfortable with a heater and a fridge, included beds for 4 people but we were 2. The bathroom is a separate place (two showers and toilets) and shared by guests from other cabins.

Walls and floor were painted plywood. Would need very little upgrade to finish inside..Did not realize before renting that bathroom facilities were off site. About 50 yards from cabin. Scary to walk to in wooded area on a pitch dark night in area of bears.

The cabin was cute outside with my name on door welcoming me. Beds were comfortable and cabin warm. Only about 4 miles from town. Host was very nice and offered to refund money if we wanted to find other accommodations.

Everything you need in a convenient secluded location. Bathrooms were clean and just a short walk from the cabins. Fire pit was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Simple check in and check out.

Not that I didn't like it, but wish that there had been dry wood, covered, so we could have had a bonfire with the neighbors.

It was a unique stay in our little cabins. We enjoyed visiting with the neighbors, you get to know them because of the communal spaces.

Other people, family cabin and cabin #2 were very inconsiderate of their neighbors. The lady in the family cabin let her dog run around without a leash. Her dog pooped right in the middle of our walk way. I ended up cleaning up after someone else's dog, I was not happy about that! Then the couple next to us, in cabin #2 were fighting for about an hour before they left and later came back. It was a bit annoying to hear that. 🙄 Overall, it was a great stay, just wish others could be more considerate.

The plumbing could use a circulating pump. There’s a lot of air in the water lines and the building doesn’t support all the cabins for hot water. Beds could use either mattress toppers or medium mattresses. Needs a portable fan.

I would like to have a microwave oven rather than the mini fridge. The jar for drinking water has yellow stains in the bottom which made us a little bit worried.
