The location was very pleasant and relaxing. The common areas were great and well kept and stocked with spices, plates, coffee, sugar, rice, marshmallows for smores. Sauna game room with foozball air hockey dart board pung pong.

The communal spaces were great but a little cold.

Davos Chalet was wonderful for a weekend ski getaway! There were lots of amenities to take advantage of, including an equipment drying room!, within a cozy setting where you can ski out to the resort. And the owners were extremely responsive and absolutely lovely!

Wonderful beautiful location and the owner was so friendly and accommodating! The view was outstanding. No TVs but some people love that, otherwise a great location and will be even better once renovations are complete!

Until the renovations are complete, I can't recommend staying here. It's over-price for the amenities provided. I wish would have been more informed as to what to expect upon arrival. I wish I would have known that the hot tub was not in the same building. I wish I would have known that there was no food on site and should have brought our own groceries.

This property has potential to be an excellent annual family reunion destination. The common kitchen was great for everyone to commune together. The sauna was great and utilized daily.

The location and surroundings was beautiful. The host was very welcoming and helpful. We liked the Austria/Switzerland concept of the chalet. We really enjoyed the games room and making a fire outside!

This facility had been abused like all ski lodges in the U.P. New owner is still working on making repairs. Our door did not latch to lock. No inside safety security locks either. I had to use wood shims under the door to jam it shut. Not really secure. The walls are thin. Some shithead thought not was a good idea to play the electric piano at 3am and it could be heard through the entire building. We were on the third floor. The piano was one floor down. Parking lot needs better definition. Cars were not parked very well. No TV in the room. Only one in the main area. Not night staff. Once the owner left for home 6 hours away... you were on your own. The Bathroom wall was shedding layers of paint. I would recommend that they take the hotel off the listing market so they can get it up to speed before they get so many bad reviews they won't be able to make it. It has potential.

Customer service was excellent. Enjoyed the warmth and at-home-feeling of the chalet. I think it is excellent place to stay with family in small or large groups. I really enjoyed the option to cook in the common areas, the selection of books and games as well.

Paid for air conditioned lake view room. The first night we got a room with a view of a boarded window well opposite the lake, no air cond, no fan no way to open unscreened window,. Bathroom door lamination peeling off due to rubbing on floor and toilet seat, bathroom so small you could hardly turn around in it. No TV, no microwave no refrigerator. Very small room. Had to go up two flights of narrow stairwell to get to first floor room. Owner said booking.com overbooked and promised us a third floor lake view corner room with two windows for the second night. Instead luggage was placed in a first floor room with one window, no air conditioning, no TV, not even a clock. This room did have small portable fan.
