How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Carpet and stairs to 2nd floor were a bit uneven.
Easy access. Room was clean and orderly. Carpet was old and could be changed out which would have made it more desirable to walk around without shoes on. Friendly staff.

I wish as a solo adult with 3 kids i wouldve been put on the first floor since carrying everything upstairs was a lot. I also wish the outside door would have been locked and only able to access using out keys but it was unlocked so anyone could walk in
the room was the cleanest room of our entire roadtrip. the location felt a bit sketchy and the outside lights on the street poles turned off while I was unloading the car. the inside of the hotel felt safe and clean, staff was very friendly.

Just a few to many people hanging out in parking lot. Mostly to smoke but always feels sketchy when it’s after dark
It was very clean and looked like it had been recently updated

They announced breakfast included but it wasn’t true. It only had buns, coffee and bananas to go. The breakfast area was closed.
The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet even it’s closer of I-40.

1. Breakfast needs improvement. A hunny bun, juice and a banana do not constitute a breakfast. Covid is over. 2. We did kill a decent sized spider in our room on the bathroom floor. No big deal because the room was very clean. We didn't see anything else.
The location was perfect for our trip home! The room was very clean , but small. The toilet in Room 105 was wonderful! So nice to have a strong powerful flush after using the restroom! So many places don't have this! The sink actually held water for shaving, which I really appreciated, The TV had basic DirecTV services; screen was large and had great picture. The staff was really wonderful. The young lady in the office made me a fresh pot of coffee for me after a long day on the road. The lady at the desk in the morning was also friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff even paused from their work to greet our terrier and told us to have a great day! :) Exceptional! Finally, the room also had a nice ceiling fan, which helped distribute cool air throughout the room. :)

Their breakfast consisted of prepackaged honeybuns, apples, bananas, and coffee.

Booking.com states breakfast is included but the FAQ as well as the hotel staff will let you know that it is not.
Great place if you need to stay on your way across the country. Super clean rooms, definitely exceeded my expectations going into this.

Location is terrible unless you just need an overnight stay for travel, food entertainment, etc... nothing close by.

The flush in the toilet is pretty loud. Not a big problem for me, but if you have somebody sleeping in the room, you can accidentally wake him up.
Clean and pretty. I stayed for only one night to sleep and didn't have any issues.

Lighting was inconvenient. Each light was on its own switch and the light over the sink didn't work.
Very friendly staff, and clean, large room. King size bed was very comfortable.
