Close to the beach & shops! Easy to find and happy hotel was on the beach road. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful team working. Nice afternoon lemonade and cookies. Very clean room. Nice breakfast, very clean and again team was excellent working! Location was very nice.

Breakfast was good. Staff was very attentive.

Rooms were small. They offered me an upgraded room, we accepted the upgrade but upon arrival room was unavailable. Hotel had a weird chemical smell that was not pleasant.

When they list the rooms as compact they weren’t kidding, the room was just slightly bigger than the bathroom. Value for the room was definitely not good.

The staff was excellent. Very pleasant and hospitable. Although we did not need our room cleaned, the hotel staff often asked if there was anything we needed during our stay. Although the breakfast had limited options, the food was good and remained stocked, while the dining area was clean and tidy. The parking was ample with plenty of room for vehicles to be loaded / and unloaded. The location of the hotel was great: we accessed the local pier (Avalon), restaurants (Awful Arthur's and Beach Combers Tiki Bar located at the Ramada Inn), and the Days Inn provided free access passes to the local YMCA - all of which were located within minutes of our location. Access to the beach was wonderful! The back of the hotel provides a small shower to wash off, a beach volleyball court and an open grill. Following a short path over the sand dunes provided immediate access to the beach! Very nice!

The Wyndham Hills at Kill Devil Hills Wilbur is an older hotel that might not be right for everyone. Overall the stay was not bad, but there were a few things we did not like. Our room we was extremely small. It was difficult to assess the room's size based on the advertised picture. There wasn't enough room for two occupants to simultaneously walk around the bed (between the foot of the bed and wall) in order to navigate from one side of the room to the other. Had I realized the room that I booked was this small, I would have upgraded my room. The room would have worked very well for a single person, but I found it to be unsuitable for two people staying more than a single night. We found the walls to be very thin. During our first night of our stay our neighbors were having a conversation loud enough that I had to ask them to keep their conversations down in order to sleep. Although we did not stay in the room for extended periods, we did need to use the Wi-Fi services. Unfortunately, we found the service within our room 'spotty' at best.The signal dropped regularly, and when it did work, the service was extremely slow.

The staff is always friendly. The room was clean.

The breakfast could have been better..slim pickings on yogurt, etc, at like 8. The bed was too soft. and a spring was squeaking every time I got up. We had loud people above us who kept us up for 2 nights.

Breakfast was very good. I didn't expect such a large selection.

The temperature of the hot water was not as hot as I thought it should be.

Jenn at the front desk when we came in late from work was very helpful and kind with getting us in it was amid Hurricane concerns and she was very knowledgeable about where and what the weather was. Perfect size room, plenty of amenities :(towels). Beach access and clean room.

I don’t have anything negative to say about our stay. Every interaction we had with the Front Desk Support Team was amazing. Love to stay again if it works. Location is perfect.

The rooms were clean and the location was good. It was convenient to shopping and restaurants.

The pool was very clean but not monitored. There were some loud and unruly guests that were splashing everyone and being inconsiderate to others.
