It was well used and could benefit from some modernization.
Overall a high quality days inn While it was clearly a very used hotel, it was really clean. Sheets, towels, everything was fresh, clean, and without stains. Standard toiletries were provided and were of good quality. One thing it had that others didnt was a unique wall panel to hang a few coats. There was pleanty of parking even though it was an extremely booked night.

Traffic trying to get here was horrific! Had to detour off I-10 and it was a mess!
Steamboat Bill’s seafood on one side, La Parrilla Mexican restaurant on the other. Comfortable, clean room, great bed. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, toiletries, good TV channels. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was continental style but was substantial.

The room gets stail and humid fast if the ac is shut off. There were other guests outside smoking which wasn't exactly pleasant but no one bothered anyone at all. Everyone kept to themselves. Also the lights outside were super bright even at night they shine threw the edges of the curtain
Room service came by daily to see if we needed anything. Room was clean when we arrived and fully stocked.

Old and worn out facility. Loose door latches, missing lightbulbs in lamps. Lights could not be corrected even after multiple notifications to staff. Office staff was not welcoming. Cleaning staff was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast offerings were disappointing.

Room needed longer curtains due to parking lot lights. All lights off in the room and room was fairly well lit with curtains fully closed. Bright light from the parking lot light was let in by too short of a curtain.

Given the price, I don't have anything to complain about, but here's a bit of a heads up for future travelers: 1)The rooms are a little damp smelling, which is to be expected. 2)The breakfast is the Wyndham minimum. Don't expect protein or even bread that you can toast. 3) The hotel is right on the interstate. Like, I didn't know you could put a building so close to a freeway. I kept thinking the door was open, because the traffic noise is so loud.
For the price, this is an EXCELLENT hotel. The place is very clean and I received full housekeeping daily. (Lately I find that even in $300/night hotels, I can't even get someone to empty the waste basket.) Bed was comfortable with a lot of pillows. The coffee was surprisingly good.

They had tv and they had cable/satalite. The only options of viewing were sports and home shopping. That is unacceptable for someone who likes to fall asleep watching a movie. I was very dissatisfied with that.

the toilet area had a major problem from the actual toilet to where the toilet paper was was about 4 feet impossible to reach. If you were sitting on the toilet, the blackout curtains allowed a tremendous amount of light from the outside lamps that were kept on 24 seven making it very daylight in the room and impossible to sleep the property splits less than 100 feet from the interstate, making it extremely noisy
it is right off the interstate so it's very easy to get to. There are two restaurants within walking distance. One is a slightly possible Mexican restaurant. The other one is a seafood restaurant but if you do not eat fried seafood, you're in trouble.
