Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United StatesI paid extra for breakfast availability. It was minimal at best. No hot options. Fruit and some bulk, self repackaged muffins and bagels. You weren't allowed to take back to.your room. I was on the road but still. There was barely any seating options. Not worth it. Says pet friendly but cats were absolutely forbidden. I was going to bring g my cat, as I was here for a few days for dog sports. Luckily I had the offer for someone else to watch him back at my rental... that turned into a disaster but that is a whole other story.... I works have been screwed if I had brought him. Or I would have had to lie.

United StatesFurniture was out dated and uncomfortable. WiFi was not working. They required a credit card charge of $50 for what they called incidentals. It was refunded, but? The Continitonal breakfast was a joke. Cheapest breakfast offerings i have seen to date.

United StatesThe room wasn’t totally clean, the rooms were not sound proof at all despite saying they are, we heard our neighbors all night long. I did not feel totally safe as there were many people just standing outside staring at all times. The clock did not work and the furniture was broken or paint was chipping. Stains on towels and sheets.
The staff was pleasant and I could park right outside.

The grounds were really nice, that swing is a nice touch. I enjoyed that the most. Pet friendly. Room was super clean. It was quiet. Staff super friendly. Worked for us because it was close to where we needed to be.

Puerto RicoI don’t want to be unfair with this hotel but there are a couple of things that they need to deal with. Therefore, I will indicate what I didn’t like and provide a potential suggested solution. 1- First, the hotel has a problem with humidity in the room.It seems this is something common in the DeLand area but it could be fixed with certain odor eaters products since the humidity smell is going into the room thru the air conditioning. 2- Second, It seems that this is a hotel for truck drivers since we saw several trucks in the parking lot. Some of these drivers smoke a lot. We notice the ash trays in the second floor. The strong smell in the rooms could be because the smoke of the cigarettes is going into the rooms thru the air conditioning. This can be fixed if they designate non smoking areas, avoid smokers going into the second floor, remove the ash trays and the use of odor eaters. 3- Third, The air conditioning is constantly shutting up which did not allow us to sleep well. We have stay in others hotels and this didn’t happen. This also can be fixed. 4- Finally, we found hair in the linens. This needs to be fixed. Maybe by asking the maintenance company to double tumble dry the linens. There is always a chance for improvement. I am recommending some actions. It is your decision to implement. Good luck!!!
