Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

It was not bad for one night in this area with this price, but they need to work on renovation. Everything was old. There is still a key 🔑 to open the door even in the year 2025 with AI magician....

GreeceI had left my luggage at the front desk for safe keeping before I left, and when I came to pick it up, one of them was missing. For some unexplained reason it had ended up, to another persons room, and it took us a while to figure it out and recover it.
I had the only bathroom in the place, shower were shared. Common area kitchen with Fridge, microwave and table.

United StatesThe shower & sink faucet were clogged, barely any water coming out. The lighting is dim too & The blinds did not work properly. The staff is not very helpful but the housekeeping lady is very kind & ready to help.
The location is truly perfect if looking to stay in the Golden Triangle. This is really a bed & shower type of lodging.

United StatesThe room I was in needed a furniture upgrade. The room across the hall was certainly nicer and appeared to be more comfortable than my room.
I liked the location and the private bathroom, also the ease of parking with the in and out ability. It was worth the value.

United KingdomStain on bed covers, room dates, furniture dates, small shared bathroom, lack of atmosphere
Fantastic location, that goes without saying. The room facilities were old outdated and don’t work to the best standard (sink taps in room didn’t let out much water and furniture was very dated). Staff were friendly enough, quite friendly by the end. Check in did seem a little cold but I think that might just be a cultural difference as the lady who runs the place is German and quite direct. After check in she was absolutely lovely! Front of building is lovely and so is the lobby seating it also gets lots of sun to the tables out front

United StatesI would like the rooms to have a little refrigerator to place the insulin medication. It would be nice if the hotel offered coffee and continental breakfast.
The hotel location was very convenient and peaceful. We had a restful night. We will definitely return to this place.

United StatesIt is definitely not upscale or modern. But if you have reasonable expectations, and your budget is the priority, it will be fine. I just needed a safe bed and shower for a medical appointment nearby, and this place was a Godsend.
I am very grateful there was an affordable choice within my budget. So so thankful. The staff were very nice.

United KingdomStaff were miserable, unprofessional and unhelpful. Kitchen was poorly equipped, no plates, cutlery, cooker, kettle or anything else you would expect in a kitchen. We did manage to heat microwave meals in the microwave. Hotel was dirty and in desperate need of updating / deep cleaning. We had no cold water in the sink, which was in the bedroom, not the ensuite. Bath was disgusting with rusty pipes and broken tiles. Wooden sash windows would not shut (or open any further). We had an upstairs room overlooking the back of the restaurant kitchen next door - it was noisy until about 1am and then restaurant cleaners arrived about 6am. On arrival we were given a list of rules and a price list of fines for various things. On departure we asked the receptionist to check our room to make sure that we would not receive any fines. Receptionist checked our room and said everything was okay, but would not sign to say there would be no fines until house keeping checked the bed to make sure 'we had not peed in the bed'. We are a respectable English couple in our 50s who have travelled all over the world - have never experienced anything like this before! Normally we are asked if we have enjoyed our stay.... We have complained to booking.com but have had limited response, and now they are not answering messages - we do not believe this hotel should be advertised on booking com or other reputable sites
Good location, close to Santa Monica Boulevard for buses, and Rodeo Drive. Location is the ONLY positive about this hotel.

United StatesI was quite disappointed with my stay. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty and the room had a strong unpleasant odor. I truly wonder how anyone can feel comfortable staying here despite paying such a price. I had chosen this hotel mainly for its good location, but unfortunately, the cleanliness was far below expectations. I sincerely request the hotel management to replace the old, unhygienic carpets and improve the overall cleanliness of the rooms. Guests do not always expect luxury at a lower price, but basic hygiene and cleanliness are fundamental expectations. Due to the smell, I couldn't even sleep properly throughout the night.
The location was good.

United StatesThe hotel is extremely overpriced for the services and experience it provided. The AC didn't work, and the morning room was around 60 degrees (15-20 Celsius), There wasn't a hair dryer in the room, There were only body and hand towels, no face/hair towels. The phone in the room wasn't working. The hotel wanted to charge 10 dollars for extra towels. The mattress wasn't comfortable at all. And the room was too dusty in general. The environment was too noisy (the red light crossing) For comparison, for 65 dollars cheaper price, I stayed at Excalibur in Las Vegas (in a room looking to the famous stript), just a day or two prior to this experience.

United StatesHotel was old, dirty, musty, and filthy. There are no bathrooms in the rooms. You have to share a bathroom in the hallway with 20 other rooms. There was 3" of dust on the ceiling fan and window blinds. Carpet was musty and dirty. Half the light bulbs were burnt out. The shared hallway bathrooms were disgusting.
The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. This was the only good thing about the hotel.

United StatesSometimes drivers near the neighborhood were a bit noisy at night.
I was in Los Angeles for a conference in Hollywood. I needed a place that was relatively inexpensive, close to public transportation and safe. I found my needs met at Casa de Flores. The room was adequate for my needs. Casa de Flores has hostel style bath and shower facilities that were very good. I found the staff pleasant and easy to get along with. I needed an iron and ironing board which they quickly supplied. It is close to metro lines that can take you all over LA including a direct line to Union Station. The city was safe and easy to explore on foot at night. Also there's a Whole Foods store two blocks away with plenty of fresh produce, prepared foods, beverages, healthy snacks and toiletries. I had a pleasant experience and will definitely book another room here. Note : I always bring my own toiletries and a bath towel wherever I travel - they do supply hand soap but not shampoo. They have a kitchen and microwave that you can use as well.
