It is rather pricey. The only negative thing I could mention is that there are not enough beach towels in the sunbed are. But we could always ask and then get towels

The location is stunning and the sunbeds facing the ocean are great. Staff is also really friendly and the rooms are new and clean. So nice they do not have carpet and therefore more hygiene. We really loved it and hopefully will be back someday 🥰

Parking...this is the second time we stay here and we had noticed the parking area is small but it had not been an issue. This time my husband had to go out in the evening to pick up advil from a nearby vons. When he returned, no parking! He asked the front desk staff and the gentlemen told him he could park up in the front, just to move our vehicle by 11am. My husband moved our vehicle at about 9:30am and we already had a parking ticket.

Proximity to the beach! You step out of your hotel room and can walk to the beach! The hotel will lend you beach chairs, umbrellas and even beach toys! Perfect for families. Our stay was to enjoy the beach so we would go swimming, then would return to the hotel to have lunch in the hotel seating area (there are lots of tables and chairs). We would then head back to the beach in no time! At night, we would sit out on the deck and enjoy the beach waves. It was cool at night but they turn out outside heaters to keep guests warm.

Ugh, barn door on the bathroom means no privacy.

The room was so comfortable and in a perfect location. The bed was great, the AC worked like a champ, and the shower was exceptional. The location - within walking distance to everything we wanted to see - meant that we didn't get in our car the whole time!

The location on the sand just can’t be beat. Del Mar Beach is great for families. The hotel also has on site parking, is near some wonderful restaurants and a short walk to the towns main street

Since the remodel, the place is great! Right on the beach, walking distance to town & restaurants right next door. For the value, you can't beat it! Plus, they accept dogs.

The friendly and outstanding staff, the beautiful room, comfortable bed, location, the gold star coffee in the office, the beach and the town! I would highly recommend staying here and would come back again and again!

It was nice being able to look out at the ocean. Nice seating, etc. VERY DISAPPOINTING that we couldn't get on the beach from the hotel grounds. My husband has a lot of difficulty walking. To go down about a block and then having to walk back down there--even though there was a gate that was locked on the property was a let down. Yes, we would probably come back & stay again in the future.

That the hotel was right on Del Mar Beach and had that lovely patio overlooking the beach with lots of chairs. The rooms were very well appointed.
