Somethings were updated but some things still need updating. It was fine for one night. On checkout morning the front desk called before checkout time to ask if we were extending our stay or leaving. I have never been called by the front desk and asked this question before. I could understand if it was really close to checkout time but it wasn’t.

Price was good. Rooms had a door to outside as well as a door to inside which was convenient. The bed was comfortable.

Television would not connect to the Direct TV dish. Things were old. Breakfast offerings were oatmeal, toast, cold cereal or waffles. Some fruit and yogurt would be nice. Chairs in breakfast area were stained.

Price was the reason we stayed there. The room was relatively clean. Did not use the pool but I could hear others swimming when we were unloading our car. Mini fridge and microwave worked.

It wasn't the room I saw on this app. That's my only real complaint. It was good enough for me on my business trip, but I wouldn't bring my family here. Beds and pillows are hard. Only waffles to eat for breakfast. If you're just needing a roof over your head for the night, it's not bad. I'm not bashing anyone, I mean, it's a small town. It's probably the best around considering what area I was in. Just needs a good paint job on the outside and some remodeling and updating for the inside. Honestly, if the woman behind the counter was rude, I would have left immediately. I could stay here again if I had to

I really didn't like how cold the shower was. I thought maybe it was because it was the end of the day, but I tried again early the next morning and the water was still next to freezing. There may have also been an odor in the room but that was expected.

The hotel was fine, my only real issue was having to deal with a cold shower. Room could've been a bit more clean and welcoming, but nothing terribly disgusting or uncomfortable. A nice vacuum and updated bedding would make the place feel like a quality place

The refrigerator was nonfunctional, no onsite filtered water (water available from pop machine), only offered powdered coffee creamer (yuk).

The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Allowed my husband to set up his scope just off parking area in grassy lot and even offered chairs to use. They also allowed us to use the restroom by the office until we left after the eclipse.

Smell of stale cigarettes smoke in the lobby. Coffee was not only just warm but not of good quality and tried to make tea, no water in hot pot. Sheets were thin and fitted sheet didn't stay on the mattress thru the night, could be because the mattress pad wasn't secured on the corners.

Coffee pot still had last guest's pod in it. Chair was worn & soiled with burn marks. Burn mark on the comforter. And in a non-smoking room. Needs a good cleaning & some fresh furnishings.

Good location near restaurants. (The Hickory Log was great). Very friendly helpful young man at the desk. TV worked great.

Ants all over even in our bed. Woke up several times with ants on our face. Was provided a roll away bed with extra charges but sank in the middle pulled back the mattress and there was a big hole where springs were broken. Floors has dirt and somebodies medication on the floor of the bathroom.

The fridge was smaller than most other places I have stayed in. It worked but the freezer wasn't big enough for my ice packs (I had a few!)

Right off the Interstate. Easy access. Comfortable and roomy and quiet. Everything was very clean and neat. Vending machines. There were all sorts of outlets on the desk for your tech.

The picture of the pool is a joke. Pool was green and totally unusable. Bedding was tired and had holes. Chairs in the room were worn and spoiled. Furniture was beat up.Ceiling paint was peeling and the carpet was sticky. No ice machine.

Staff was pleasant.

A better ADA bathroom would be nice, shower instead of tub, but we understand that’s expensive. The shower head, chair and adaptations let us know they are trying and they are helpful.

We have stayed here several times. This is a basic room. What we do like is that each time, the room is better than the last time. They have continually strived to be better.
