The only minor issue was the mattresses. Our room had a double bed and a single bed, which my friend and I stayed in. The single bed was less comfortable than the double-it might be better suited for a child/teen and was a little soft. Fortunately, my friend is tiny so it worked out ok!

What makes Dodgeton Creek Inn truly amazing is the owner Mike. Every morning Mike made us the most welcoming and delicious breakfasts with eggs benedict, omelets, or pancakes with maple syrup, fresh fruit, coffee, and a selection of juices. It felt just like being taken care of at home and there was always a warm atmosphere. He was truly wonderful. The room was quite large and had its own fun old flavor and the kitchen in our room was well stocked with every appliance you could think of. The shower always had excellent hot water. We felt we could ask Mike anything we needed, and he would find it. He was kind, thoughtful, and ready to help in any way he could. Wifi worked great. This place is really a great value for money.

Great old building on a little creek. Cucharra is very small but has two excellent restaurants. Owner fixed a great breakfast and is always interesting to visit with.

The building was generally in good shape but a few extra holes in the wall, a hole in a bath towel and flat, flat pillows that were ready to be retired.

Breakfast was terrific! Nice owner with lots of interesting stories about the area. Easy to walk the one commercial block of Cuchara from this establishment. Yacht Club (two doors down) was a hit with music, good food & good service.

Mike was an outstanding host. Breakfast was excellent. It is a great place to relax and see a part of Colorado that I have never seen before . We plan to go back and will stay at the Dodgeton Creek Inn again.

The owner, Mike, was fantastic. He cooked an amazing breakfast for us, and we enjoyed hearing about the ski operation at Cuchara Mountain Park. We plan to be back to ski.

The location on creek allows for relaxing place to sit outside. Easy walking to everything in small village of Cuchara. Mike, the owner/operator is great. Breakfast was great.

Everything was fabulous, including the breakfasts. The location was perfect, and our host, Mike, made us feel right at home. We hope to return sometime this fall. Couldn't find a nicer place to stay!!!

It's not really a dislike, but some people may not like that it is off the beaten track. But that's what makes it great!

A quirky B&B in a unique location. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. A fun experience outside the norm. The town is very compact and interesting. A couple of good, fun restaurants within a short walk.

Mike is a great host. We really enjoyed talking with him. He has such an interesting background and his long experience in the hospitality industry shows in how he takes care of his guests. He prepared an excellent gluten free breakfast to meet the needs of our family. Mike is deeply involved in the local community.
