To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaIce machine on 14th floor was not working properly, but ice was easily available on next floor down. Unfortunately, I forgot to inform front desk. My bad. Hopefully a staff member will read this and get ice machine on 14th floor repaired.
Great experience, room was clean and comfortable. Staff provided great customer service. Bathroom was clean and shower was great.

United States of AmericaThe shower only had hot water. Not just hot - it went steaming hot so you cannot shower. Something is installed incorrectly. I did mention it to the front desk but not sure if something is done with this information? This is for sure a liability issue hotel management might want to look into before someone gets hurt.
Location is 8 min. walk from UAB Kirklin Clinic. We had a room with a terrace. Our terrace room was just renovated, so yes the room looks fresh, clean, nice linens etc. - But our shower was a serious issue. Hotel Management - please read comment about the shower issue - important to have this fixed a.s.a.p.

United States of AmericaNo main lobby, Rooms on 3rd floor have refrigerators but don't have Microwave. 3rd floor entrie door say use your room card to get in but all we had to do your just pull it open each time we came back to the room so it was not a great night of rest knowing this. But no problems either night...
Love the location, rooms 👌 great , service 👍 great. And comfort sitting.

United States of AmericaI just feel like all the money we pay for the rooms the breakfast should come with it .. I was really surprised when I was told breakfast wasn’t free .. I turned around and went to Waffle House .. also I strongly feel like parking for customers that are staying at the Hilton should also come with it … $15 a night to park and paying for breakfast just sounds crazy to me and make me wonder was my $500 stay for 2 nights was worth it lol .. but on the only good side the city view was amazing and the bed slept great .. y’all also need to invest in having microwaves in the room … there is a lot y’all can do better this is just a start

United States of AmericaI didn't like the fact that there was no menu in the room. I kept being told that all I had to do was scan the code, but there was no code. However, the staff were very kind and brought a menu to the room so problem solved.
The hotel's atmosphere. It smelled good and looked good. The bathroom was nice and clean. I was very comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe conference rooms were really cold. Also wish the pool had more privacy. I also had a room that was joint to another where they shared doors. The people on the other side were strangers. The conjoined doors leaked a lot of noise.
