The menu was too extravagant. The quality of food was good but portions way to big. Also we were told breakfast was included and the hotel did not honor the free breakfast.

Hotel was accessible to roads, close to our venue, well lit in the evening, good fitness center.

Location is average. My room was on the second floor, but I could hear the noise from the bar as I tried to fall asleep

This is my fourth stay at the hotel in two years. I think that says it all. My go to Hotel when visiting family in Lubbock.

Understaffed at the counter. The restaurant is expensive and the food very subpar.

Our confirmation stated “breakfast is included in the final price” which was deceptive. What they did not say, was that a breakfast worth $15 per person was included in the final price. So we were charged for a portion of our breakfast. why say the price of breakfast is included in the final price if you are still charging for part of the breakfast.

Large, clean room, which was nice and cool. The bed was comfortable, and the accommodations and amenities were top notch.

The Pool. My God, there was NO chlorine in that pool. First off, it was hot/warm, which I didn't mind. But it was also EXTREMELY salty, 80 percent sure it was 50 percent pee. My eyes didn't burn underneath the water , and as much as I hate the burn, the burn means it's clean. I didn't want to stay in very long, I think I only spent 10 minutes in before I got out. A few other strange things with the pool may be unrelated but they've never happened before. My side was aching badly, no I didn't eat before I got in, once I got out it took 5 minutes before the pain went away. But also my ears, I have never experienced pain like that when diving under water before. It felt like my ears were popping and I had an ear infection. I don't have an ear infection. It was extremely painful whenever that water got in my ears. Made it hard to enjoy anything about it. Again MIGHT be unrelated but these things have never happened to me before whenever I went swimming and I've been swimming in rivers before.

The room was incredible, I wasn't expecting my name on the tvs so that was amazing. It was a beautiful room and extremely comfortable. I loved the balcony veiw too, my friends and I spent a lot of time talking while we looked out onto the city. Defidently would go again. Just not for the pool.

There were no cookies available though out my stay and that is one of the reasons I selected the Doubletree. Also Friday night at 11:00 pm the bar area was so loud it was hard to sleep.

My room smelled a little like a bon fire. When the front desk texted me to ask how things were, I asked about it and never received a response. The hotel was so packed with a soccer tournament, my little one was unable to swim, and that was a main reason for getting out of town.

The bed was one of the most comfortable beds in hotels I have slept in.

Housekeeping not disturbing us when we clearly posted our DND on the door. Room location very noisy!!

Front desk staff was amazing, food delicious, bar fun and staff wonderful. Our room was nice, it was just very noisy. We were on the ground floor and everyone walking in and out sounded like they were in the room with us. We also got in very late and had DO NOT DISTURB on door. Housekeeping knocked early and woke us up. Then we could hear people coming and going all morning long.

Bar and restaurant area could be more intimate. Feel like you’re eating in a gymnasium. But good food.

Staff was great and accommodating. Our first room didn't have working heat... I messed with the heater for about 10 min and called front desk...they sent someone down fairly quickly ...they couldn't get it working so they switched rooms.

Mine was on the second floor, which is open to the lobby. Was a bit noisy. Room opened to a view of some roof drain with wall around it. Pretty disappointing. No tub

Nice clean room. Bed was comfortable and room was immaculately clean. Shower was large and looked nice.
