Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Noise from people walking and talking in the hallway, along with doors slamming, can be heard clearly inside the room. The hallway smells strongly of marijuana. The curtain in the room is broken, letting in bright light, and no staff were present at the check-in desk at 7:45 AM when assistance was needed.

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like.

Room was small for the price. Shampoo was empty. Not enough towels. Elevators had issues. Indoor part of pool isn't very safe for small children due to no guards and the flooring gets very slippery very easily.
Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good.

I didn’t like the bathroom door. No privacy, open crack. Everyone should have privacy while in the bathroom. All smells flow right into the room and there are no exhaust fans in the bathroom which allows the smells to remain in the room. I also didn’t like that my towels were taken from my room and not replaced. There was a worker cleaning rooms down the hall and I asked for some towels I was told to go to the front desk. I explained that my towels were taken from my room and not replaced. She said she only had enough towels for the rooms that she had to finish. I had to be one of the rooms that she cleaned but I didn’t know why she didn’t replace my towels.

It was just a few things like having to go downstairs and get your own towels because housekeeping didn't replace them, tv not working at all
The staff was friendly and nice overall ill stay here again I had a great time. and can't wait to come back and visit.

We almost stayed one night had to catch a flight in Memphis the following morning so we really didn’t encounter any problems.
We were very lucky no children running up and down the hallways our room seem to be very quiet. Front desk was very polite and helpful!

There were parts of the building and room that needed a deep clean not just topical cleaning.
The employees were polite, respectful and helpful. It is a nice hotel that is pleasant to stay at.

My room was next door to a suite that was being used as the "hospitality room" for a convention of vetrans. They held their breakfast in that room starting at 7:00. With 15 or so people chatting and socializing just a door away, there is no way I could sleep longer than that. Luckily, it was only 2 of my 5 nights. These guests should have been offered something far away from single occupancy rooms.
The location is perfect for getting around in Memphis. There is a lot in the area in terms of dining and shopping. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I saw the pool and gym, but I didn't get around to using them, but they looked very nice.

The barn door on the bathroom is a horrible idea. It offers no privacy and was very difficult to open/close and really loud. With four adults in the room, this wasn’t a good thing. My 18-yr old granddaughter chose to walk down to the lobby restroom instead. I did the same twice.
Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking was easy and close. We didn’t have time, but the virtual games would have been great entertainment.
