To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very unique hotel filled with history and personality. Staff was exceptionally friendly (shout out to Fallon at the front desk). My sister and I were in town for a concert and felt the location was convenient and offered good amenities.

United States of AmericaThe signage for breakfast....we misread the breakfast time as both weekend and weekday were on the sign but kind of small letters. The kitchen lady was clearing things but nice enough to allow us a couple pieces of sausage before she took them away! The neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy but we didn't have any issues and parked in the ramp with no problem.
We appreciated the glass of wine at "closing" from the KickBack.....it was a long drive before we stopped. Beds were comfortable!

United States of AmericaAnother great stay at Drury Inn. I arrived early for a Cardinals Baseball game and was greeted with a smile. They let me park my vehicle in the garage before check-in so I could head to the game without worrying about anything. I got back to the hotel in time to check in and get settled before the 5:30 kickback. The food was nice and so were the alcoholic beverages. Every employee I interacted with went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my stay.

it was nice that dinner was included in the price but i would have preferred a lower room rate and purchased my own meal. the quality of the food was poor or not to my taste. the bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. the location was fabulous for us as we were traveling by train and bicycle.
