The method of collecting payment. We are used to payment being taken at the END of our stay.

This hotel is less than a year old. It is a prototype for an upcoming style Drury is building several of and calling Drury Plaza... Although we have been to several of the Drury historical hotels (as in St. Louis) and love those, this new venture should also serve Drury well. This Plaza style is more upscale and has more modern lines (though still cozy.) It has a nice pool and hot tub with a well equipped exercise room. It is kept clean, which is important to us. Our room had very comfortable queen beds. There is a bar/food lounge that stays open to midnight. As a night owl, I really appreciated this! As usual, they serve a really nice hot breakfast as well as a light supper at 5:30pm. There is also a fun popcorn machine for snacking. We highly recommend this hotel, especially for those going to the Creation Museum. It is very close to many restaurants, with a gas station next door and a really nice and clean Bob Evans across the way. We will be back!

The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice. The hotel not only has the wonderful amenities that are Drury's standard, they have a lovely bar and restaurant in the hotel. This was a great place to stay if you are going to Cincinnati stadiums.

The room seemed clean but I found a lot of (other) people hair on the desk and lamp tables. Found additional hair in the towels, wash clothes, and bath room. Sink was pretty clean. The sheets had a couple of stains on them (they were small but still made me a bit of comfortable) . Pillows smelled a bit of sweat . Thank god I bring my pillows. own blankets to hotels.

We loved the nice facilities, staff was very nice. And the pool and /jacuzzi was wonderful for the kids.

We had to ask 3 times before we got another roll of toilet paper. We opted out of maid service and every time we requested toilet paper, the maid emptied the garbage and didn't leave toilet paper.

Room was clean and not cramped. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed 3 nights and each evening we ate at their free buffet. The penne pasta, alfredo sauce and chicken was delicious. Taco buffet was ok, as was the pulled pork. They rotate the 3 entrees. They had vegetable also, each night was nachos and cheese, a soup, salad greens, tomatoes. There are so many restaurants and fast food places within 1/2 mile but it was so nice to be able to stay in for meals. There is a restaurant on premises too. Food looked reasonably priced. Based on the molten lava cake my granddaughter and I shared one night, I would say the food is probably very good. The pool was nice and there is a hot tub.

The "business center" was one computer and printer without a chair out in the middle of a walkway. You were unable to type a note. No privacy. It actually had a sign that said business center, which gave us a good laugh.

The front desk staff was great. You felt welcome and they were very accommodating. Very impressed with the entire staff, including the ladies who cleaned the rooms and took care of the breakfast area.

The free breakfast and evening receptions are the main reason we like staying at Drury's. This one was a little unique in that you had to pay $1 for each of your drink tickets and the pours are very conservative, but it is still a great deal. We were put in a room right next to the elevator and we hated it as it was extremely noisy. The automatic lighting in the bathroom (without a dimmer) was not to our liking. When getting up in the night to use the bathroom, the light would automatically burst on with a blinding light and I had to fight to turn it off. Yikes....as light flooded into the main room until I could get the door shut or get the light switched off.

The free breakfast and evening receptions were top notch and the staff was really friendly. Love the food and so convenient after a long drive when you just want to relax. Our room was clean and very nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. When the black out shades were pulled, it made the room feel like night. The popcorn was also a really nice touch.
