We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything! The location was nice, the house was amazing and they said they have one closer to Central Park that's more original to the Era. The staff was amazing, breakfast was amazing, the room was cozy and I have absolutely nothing negative to say.

Gorgeous mansion. One of the most beautiful b&bs I’ve ever seen, elegantly furnished with decor of the period. Also, very clean. Gourmet breakfast with great staff.

Beautiful historic property Iocated in Historic Louisville. Beautifully renovated rooms, everything you want available. Access to a small kitchen to make coffee/ tea and a large fridge for water. Home made cookies available daily which were delicious. Christopher was hugely welcoming, a wealth of knowledge about where to visit and created sumptuous breakfasts for us every morning, accommodating our earlier start on our final day. We used Uber to travel around for our short stay which was less costly than renting a car.

We loved the Victorian feel of the Mansion and all the character that had been brought back to life during the renovation. It was clean, the bed was super comfortable, shower was great with good water pressure. Breakfast was above and beyond what we expected and tasted wonderful. The owners were very polite and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

United StatesWe were never made aware of the UPS Freight flight path that was directly over the DuPont Mansion. On Friday night, starting a 11:30pm, UPS Freight planes started flying over the Dupont Mansion every 2-3 minutes (had my stop watch) and landing on the airfield behind the Mansion (see google earth). This continued until 1:30 am, Again every 2-3 minutes! I was so bad that night, we decided to leave the property and not stay the second night. I went ahead and booked a room in another hotel. I am totally convinced that the property owners know about this situation and don't disclose it. Will be discussing with legal counsel.

The mansion was nice. The handle fell off the hot side of the faucet. The TV was kind of small and it stinks if you don't have Aps access as they have no TV service other than streaming.
