To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of Americastaff were condescending during checkin, speaking to me like a child who had never stayed in a hotel before. the shuttle bus broke down leaving us using the city bus to get to the slopes and into Vail. There was no apology, just “no bus isn’t coming, it has broken down, city bus leaves from the other side of the town, you’ll have to walk”. finally, staff were unpleasant in checkout not wanting to provide a receipt as we booked through booking. All hotels should provide final receipts on checkout as there are often additional resort charges etc.

Amenities are great. The pool, the hot tub. The kitchen is great, they have everything.

United States of AmericaOnly reason I didn't give it 10 stars is because it didn't offer a breakfast or even snacks. They only have coffee and a vending machine. Other than that, everything was great and will be coming back again.
To start, we thought it was just a regular hotel room but was more like a small apartment with a full living room and full kitchen. Loved it! We used the outdoor hot tub and saw that they have an indoor one as well. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Right next to a river which we took a nice walk by and took many nice pictures.
