Was little bit apprehensive driving in seeing the small cabins. However once you open the door everything was good.

Had the typical facilities, refrigerator and microwave. Had seating area both inside and out. Very good chicken at nearby restaurant. Both David and Kim were welcoming.

    Beautiful location, hometown cabin feel

Having the bathroom separate from the cabin was a bummer when it’s so cold outside and when you have kids. It probably is not as big of a problem in the summer. I was under the impression that “two rooms with a shared bathroom” meant that the two rooms were connected to the bathroom, but it was a couple of cabins away. But not a huge deal! It’s more like a camping experience than a “resort”, but that adds to the charm.

I loved the location and I loved that it was child friendly and could be pet friendly! The staff was great and helpful, and the restaurant was great too! The rooms were heated well with the space heater and radiant heater, so we were kept plenty warm. This area is just beautiful!

Welcoming, good value, lodge-style rooms close to Mount Rainier.

My only criticism is that the wifi signal was very weak in the outermost cabins.

Great location, good value, friendly and welcoming lodge style rooms with verandas. Conveniently located next to both a general store, petrol/gas, and a restaurant & bar. Shared bathrooms were well-maintained and clean. What more could you want?

An excellent base camp with good bones

I wish I had done a bit more research beforehand and asked questions: the cabins are nice, but are a bit cold this time of year (perfect with blankets), the restrooms were in a separate building (but they were all-gender — yay!!!), and water could only be obtained in the bathroom. I wish I had brought warmer socks for my feet, my electric kettle to make tea/coffee, and a larger container for carrying water or brought water from home. That would have made my stay perfect. The restaurant (Woodshed) was within walking distance and the food was pretty good — definitely a plus! The folks working there were pretty nice too — another big plus. I had a nice chat with the person tending the store about Chinook Pass area, etc. Learned a lot about local wildlife trends (good to know!!).

It was really close to Mt Aix — a great base camp for my weekend trip!!

Separate community bathroom facilities, but they were clean and accommodating

Very cozy, next to the main highway but very little road noise. Pleasant neighbors

Website implied a hotel room was what was booked. But only dry cabins, tent, and RV sites are available. No in room bathrooms, coffee pots, water.

Location is optimal for access to both Chinook and White Passes.
