Funky shower plumbing. Peeling paint on bathroom ceiling. Only one mirror placed at entrance hallway across from bathroom door was a problem. Lighting was very poor. Placement being by the bathroom made us cramped and running into each other when trying to shower and dress. Another mirror by a window with natural light would solve two problems.

I didn't like that our room did not have full curtains. Our window had two side panels and a valance. We looked everywhere for a way to close them until we noticed under the valance you could see that the curtains were simply side panels. We had the floodlights from the Comfort Inn next to us shining in our room all night long. We drove 3 hours to dig in the salt plains and stayed in Alva but without sleep it made the drive the next day much harder. There was one employee at the front desk sitting on the table behind it on her phone that when asked a question she just stared at me.

The room was a nice size for a family of 5. We all liked the continental breakfast and most of the employees are nice.

I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inns this has by far been the worst bed ever. The mattress is so cheap you can feel the springs. I chose to stay here because normally the Holiday Inns have the best beds. Not at this one, my back still hurts from it.

The breakfast was great the first day but the second day the staff member didn’t show up on time so breakfast was not out before time for me to leave. The front desk staff was always in the back room so nobody really watches who comes in and out. The staff member on morning of checking out looked like she came straight from bed. Same clothes and everything

No elevator, but arrived early enough to get a room in the bottom floor. Others were not ... no pool or hottub. No extra blankets when i asked because the heater was crappy... It would fluctuate from freezing to hot and then back again. There was a draft from the window. Had to ask for towels. No one cleaned the room our entire stay.

No hot water for shower, when asked about it was told try showering in the less busy times. The pool and hot tub were closed, but online said it's open. That was the only reason I chose that hotel. Could have stayed next door for cheaper if I had known pool wasn't open. When I told the manager that she didn't even care. Had to go get the bedding for the sofa bed myself. They wouldn't bring it to me. Asked for a shower chair, I was told I don't know where they are but will see if I can find them. They never looked. When I complained about everything, all I got was that I was sorry. Didn't offer me a discount or anything. I told the manager I would be leaving an unpleasant review because I was very unhappy with my stay. She didn't seem to care.

The beds were comfortable, and the room was nice. Breakfast was good.

it was a little tight getting pickup with trailer around and parked in lot. also, 7am weekend starting breakfast time is a little late for early risers needing to get on the road. 6:30am would be so much better. many people were down in breakfast bar area between 6:15 and 6:30 am when I stayed there. Been nice if Ice Machine on 2nd floor worked by Handicap rooms, instead of having to go down to first floor to get ice.

Property was clean, room was nice, bedding was nice and fluffy. Breakfast was good, it was a Wednesday so wasn’t any cinnamon rolls and the orange juice was really watered down. Overall was a great stay and I would stay here again.

This was the most costly place in town. The King bed was hard as bricks. The pool looked green and toxic. Breakfast was very empty and understaffed. The herd was always waiting to be fed. Coffee had huge grounds, the orange juice was watery and no place to dump it out and the turkey sausage had no flavor but it was my only choice because the pork sausage was empty. Sausage gravy and biscuits empty. Cheese Omelet was empty and I don’t want egg white vegy what ever.

It was awesome and clean. Check-in was easy. The staff was awesome! Breakfast was great…when it was there.
