The room was really warm and neither turning on the fan or opening a window helped. The TV was too small and the juice machine in the lobby would sometimes dispense dead fruit flies.

Our room wasn’t ready when we tried to check in on time. When we got into the room there was hair all over the bathroom floor. No A/C in the room. The pic showed a counter with breakfast items and they said that’s old. There’s no breakfast. Only juice and coffee.

The location was great and liked that it had a balcony. Staff was friendly and helpful.

$800 for two nights is extremely unreasonable.

A two night stay at this hotel for $800.00 is an unreasanable cost for a hotel of this type. But it was Monterey Car Week, so all hotels are higher priced during this event.

Shower obviously hadn't been cleaned. Tons of hair in the tub was pretty off putting but room was otherwise clean. Wish they had more vending machine options or something for middle of the night drinks/snacks.

Only affordable place with vacancy in that entire area during a busy weekend in Summer. Beds were comfortable. Front desk agent went out of his way to come from a different location at midnight to check us in. Juice options in the office was nice in the morning since there's no breakfast or anything.

They charge a mandatory $150 deposit? I know that is a standard practice at some hotels, but we checked in at like 8 pm, and were only staying one night? The room was already a little pricey the deposit made it regrettable

Absolutely no check-in until after 3pm. The door card keys didn’t work, but staff came out and replaced batteries in lock. The refrigerator leaked water onto the floor the entire time, saturated two hand towels. There is an empty parking lot across from the back where the bathroom is, not a big deal but just want to mention the window blinds in the bathroom did not go down all the way.

One side of the bed was close to being collapsed in checked out, thinking we were gonna leave but being we’re going to travel seven hours decided to check back in. It was given the same room in our back on our trip home realized that I left prescription glasses in the bathroom Kept calling for a week. And was told they didn’t find anything.

Our room smelled like smoke even though, that room was supposed to be non-smoking. Our sheets and blankets also had cigarette burn marks. The windows did not have screens so flies and other critters would come inside when we had the windows opened.

The staff was amazing. It took my 5 minutes to check in. When I walked into the office I was greeted with excitement. When I asked for an extra blanket and pillow, staff immediately got on it. All major attractions were only about a 10 minute drive. I appreciated that the hotel was next to a gas station for convince. Plus the price per night was fair.

Only issue was hall ways to rooms were carpeted and dirty but it just looked as if some one spilt chips or something near by our door

For the $70 price I paid for 2 Queen beds it exceeded my expectations room was clean was also pretty big stores nearby was a plus check in was easy and person working was nice room had plenty of stations on the TV and the restroom was stocked with toilet paper and multiple towels and wash cloths

The bed sheets and pillows are dirty. The couch has a white stained. I was prepared I brought extra sheets and pillows from home.

It’s a beautiful room and the bed is soo comfortable. The staffs were respectful.

First The booking.com listed free breakfast which they didn't have. They also listed the hotel as .08 miles from the event we went to! It was a good 10-12 min drive! The beds were very hard! The sign inside the room states cleaning daily. The first day we left for our event and came back later. No services for the room we're done. We left our trash outside the door the next day. Never was emptied! We had to go ask for clean towels! There is not enough parking for the number of rooms! One night we parked in the handicapped parking as that's where we were told to park. The next night we parked in the manager space!

It was a pleasant surprise to be given a room with a view. Granted, there was a gas station below, so not very private, but I was able to view the sunset! I was also happy and relieved that the bathtub could hold water. I can't tell you how many times a bathtub was advertised with a room but it didn't work. I liked that there was a heat light in the bathroom and overall that the lights were soft and not obnoxiously bright. I tried to watch TV a bit which was very frustrating because it seemed that only 10 channels came in. Half of the buttons on the remote would not work, like the right arrow and mute button. It was stuck on closed captioning. I was hoping that the furniture offered a USB port (like some lamps and desks do), but they didn't. Lastly, it was the first time I had experienced pillows with an undercover that helped keep its shape. So many times I've come across lumpy and flat pillows that are not comfortable, but theirs were equally comfortable. Thanks!

A bit too far out of town and the price was quite high for what and where it was, but I understand that this was because the car show was on, so this was a very busy weekend in monterey and everywhere was probably more expensive than usual. Also, if we opened the curtain, it was just a clear window which looked directly into the opposite room, so we left the curtains closed.

It was clean and quiet and had a car park. The beds were comfortable, but we only needed one bed rather than 2 large beds. The extra bed just took up more room.
