This place is obviously aged, it could use some TLC and a good deep cleaning. The bathroom light/fan combo was almost painfully loud, definitely in need of repair. There was also a weird odor to the room, idk if it was the age of the property or something else. I also noticed mold in the window cracks/crevices that should be cleaned.

Love the location of this property, it is near lots of restaurants and stores so that is convenient. Bed was comfortable and all amenities worked. Staff was friendly.

We paid way too much for this experience. The rooms was nice and all, but just not in the price category that we paid. The breakfast was mostly forgettable, but present. Most about this hotel can be summed up with "present". Yes, there was everything we needed, but nothing impressed or delighted me. It will do.

Paid for shuttle to the airport.

This was booked for an overnight to the GRR airport. It certainly served the purpose. Hotel is dated and needs to be updated. Linen was clean and room was clean. Otherwise it is fine for an overnight prior to a flight.

Our shower was not great, no matter how you adjusted the shower head it wA spraying water either on the wall, ceiling, or floor. Definitely needs fixed.

Management failed to update their information on Booking.com which stated that check-in is 2pm (that’s #1 reason why I picked this hotel), but they simply put up a sign at the reception that check-in is at 3pm (see pics). We arrived shortly before 2pm and were told we can’t check in yet. What a COMPLETE LETDOWN!!!! Funny thing is, reception staff blamed it on booking.com saying that it’s a 3rd party site, but hey you guys provide them with your information, booking.com couldn’t make this up as most other hotels check in time is 3pm. Many reviewers bragged about their breakfast (another reason I picked this hotel) and even the hotel description in booking.com speaks about savory and sweet items but we didn’t see ANY savory food. The waffle batter tasted off/funny. The sofa bed was way too dusty. My family is allergic to dust and they developed rash and sneezes a lot while in that area. Cracked tile in bathroom. Not sure if we want to recommend this hotel due to the negatives as they are plenty of choices in the area.

Room was decent and spacious. Happy to use the coffee machine for latte and cappuccino. They couldn’t give us the room we booked and provided an acceptable solution.

I question the new policy of not allowing breakfast food to be taken out of the breakfast area, especially since the breakfast ends at 9:00, two hours before checkout. In the past we usually grabbed breakfast to take back to our room, where we could eat at our leisure instead of in a crowded breakfast room. I really missed having that option.

We enjoy the suite layout at this hotel. The kitchenette provides a fridge and a microwave, handy for storing cooler contents and reheating leftovers. I appreciated the sofa where I could put my feet up in the evening. The king-size bed was comfortable. The receptionist was helpful when I needed to place a local call. The breakfast was the usual - I always like the bagels, yogurt, and fruit.
