It was ok but there was something weird about the staff. They were sort of robotic, they were polite robots. The bed was comfortable and climate controlled room.

The room needs updating, especially the shower. The shower head wouldn't fully come on. I was disappointed they took the fire pit away. I really enjoyed that.

It's a decent value for the price. It's not luxury accommodations. We did not eat breakfast on this trip but we have in the past and it was OK, nothing special. The main attraction for us is the location, walking distance to downtown.

Cost and it's dated.

The location is perfect for enjoying the restaurants and shops in Ellicotville. The staff were friendly. The lodge is dated. It needs to be refreshed. Normally it is a value, but not last weekend. Perhaps due to St. Bonaventure graduation.

Whirlpool jet tub. Only a couple of the jets worked, and the hot water ran out in 5 minutes. No breakfast as advertised.

It felt like the staff could care less if we had a good stay or not. The snow wasn't shoveled off the steps. There was a shovel there so we shoveled the steps off after hotel staff made it clear they weren't going to. A two minute job that could and should be done by hotel staff, not guests. Breakfast was cereal, toast, muffins, apples. coffee. No tea as the hot water wasn't working. When we asked about hot water, the response was - Use the microwave. Again, felt as if the staff could care less about guest experience.

I liked the clean room, the size of the room and the mini fridge was a great bonus. The beds were comfortable. Cute, cozy motel with a great location. Walking distance to stores, bars and restaurants. Short drive to the ski hill

Shower flow was pretty weak, staff repaired shower to work well, In room fridge was noisy, beds were uncomfortable. It is under new ownership and it looks like they are working to improve things. We have stayed there before and had a great experience, would go back to try again.

Price was fair for the fact our apartment slept 8, bathroom was kind of in rough shape and it's hard to only have one bathroom with 8 people but it worked. Kitchen was nice fridge was rusty.

Where do I start? Unfriendly, frumpy looking front desk owner. Never once asked how our 2 night stay was. Dingy, rodent-smelling basement where stale bagels and cereal was served. ***we saw him clipping his toenails outside the front office!!!!! Need I say more??

Location and view of the ski hills was excellent. Clean rooms, but needing a definite facelift. Swimming pool was a bonus but the chlorine took a layer of skin off our feet…yuck
