How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewGreat spacious room for 4 (including 2 teenagers). Really comfortable. Awesome breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub. Inviting outdoor space with fire pit. Enjoyable happy hour in the evening. I have to call out the front desk staff - they were incredibly nice and helpful.
We’d hope to use the pullout bed but it was not comfortable (not well padded and you could feel the springs) so our teens had to share the queen bed. Also the pullout bed out bed had dome debris from previous guests in it).

Verified reviewBright facility. Room was fine for 2 people. The shower and bathroom were very usable (even if the shower drain clogged too easily). Plenty of closet space. A no-nonsense desk.... Nice!
The breakfast -- I wasn't a fan. A complete rethink of the layout, how people flow through the space, and the disappointing food selection is necessary. The "made to order" muffin idea needs a rethink as well. Many, many carbs... The only protein were fruit and yogurt. Vegan options were....raw fruit...only. The noise from the courtyard. More proactive and strict quiet hours signage and enforcement is needed. The echo from the laughing and shenanigans down below from the courtyard after 10pm wasn't welcome. These are all solvable problems with a little bit of effort, so I would like to try this location again later down the road.

Verified reviewI love this place -- perfectly located, comfortable, great breakfast and afternoon refreshments. The rooms are so nice. The staff is very friendly.
The hotel has washer/dryers. They are coin op, and in order to get quarters, you have to have cash to exchange. I wanted to put it on my hotel bill, and I had no cash. Not possible. You know, a really nice perc would be if a guest is staying two or more nights, let them have a free wash/dry - or eliminate the coin op part of it altogether. What are the odds someone is going to bring tons of laundry and abuse the perc? Other issue - no spare roll of toilet paper in the room, which I noticed one evening, and I was getting low. I called to the desk and was told I could come to the desk to get a roll of toilet paper. I said I needed them to bring it to my room as I was ready for bed. I think it would be kind of customary for a guest to call the front desk for necessities and those would be delivered to the room as a matter of course. Last -- breakfast bus tubs were overflowing quite a while before breakfast service was over. These are fussy observations, I realize, but I love this place so much, I want it to not miss a trick!

Verified reviewTerrific location, next to the park and river walk! The daily breakfast was very good. "Happy Hour" and complementary wine and beer a treat. The shower was excellent. I was worried about the pet policy due to allergies, but the entire facility was very clean and I didn't have any issues.
Always wish the window(s) would open for fresh air. Coffee could be stronger. Could use a pot holder in kitchen area.

There’s construction going on and walking downtown there was a bit of a detour. Otherwise it’s great. The hotel itself there are no complaints.

Verified reviewThe room was spacious and complete with kitchen and fridge. The bathroom also spacious and comfortable with nice shower. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, I am to the point of purchasing the same pillows at the Westin website. My room was facing the Pioneer Park and I feel so relax every morning doing yoga looking at the beautiful trees and listening to the birds singing. The breakfast is complimentary and it is very good and healthy choices from hot tacos to fruits. Coffee, tea and water with fruits infused are 24 hours and they put some green apples too for snacks. The lobby sitting areas and sitting areas outside with campfire is beautiful and great place to relax. The hotel is walking distance 15-20 minutes to downtown. I love to walk from Pioneer Park to Drake Park, it's very beautiful and peaceful. I feel my 5 nights stay is not enough in Bend.
Unfortunately there's construction on going near the road there causing detour but there is no noise of disturbance of that.

Verified reviewLoved the atmosphere and cleanliness. Loved the big size of the room, and the comfortable bed and pillows. The price was also great, although when booking I think there should be a mention that there is a ten dollar fee for each vehicle. The staff was all very friendly, HOWEVER, when we arrived a little after our check in-time at four, we were told that our rooms were not ready. The woman at the front desk told us that it would likely be not more than 30 minutes, and CERTAINLY not after 5. She took my phone number so that she could call me when the rooms were ready. After waiting in the parking lot, at 5 we had still not gotten a call. Long story short, our rooms were not ready until after 5:30. Not the end of the world, but the big problem is that the woman checking us in looked intoxicated or potentially on drugs. She was trying to be friendly, but it seemed like she was struggling to even finish her sentences. We are not sure if that contributed to the delays with our rooms being ready.
