Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Property is in excellent physical condition. Exterior and interior - lobby, halls, amenities, and rooms looked and felt brand new. Friendly staff. Rates were a great value.

I inadvertently left my toiletry bag behind, my fault. I did use the hotel's process for returning it which worked but it took a long time, almost one month. I do appreciate that it was returned to me.

I wrote to the hotel several times due to my flight cancellations. they never answered. only when I got someone with and American number to call them, did they react. Hotel is a bit expensive relative to the location.

I wish that the bar stayed open longer.
The Easter brunch with Chef Matthew Plummer was excellent. Also, the lady bartender on the early Friday shift on 4/18/2025 was also very friendly, and she made a GOOD drink for a weary traveler!

breakfast was really disappointing`, we would never have breakfast there again. The waffle i ordered tasted like an eggo out of a box.
Our room was very nice, and staff was so friendly despite the fact that they were slammed by concert attendees. Your management team stepped in to help staff and it really showed leadership. Well done!

I wish it had a market/store for last minute needs, we were there for a volleyball tournament and needed late/early morning food. The 2 cabinet selections don't offer enough and we had to order food delivery, which is fine, but would be more convenient to be able to go grab something more substantial from a marketplace type amenity store. Still, I will stay here again because this tiny wish means nothing compared to the overall great experience we had at this hotel.
Staff was so nice and accommodating! Hotel was quiet, clean, attached restaurant was good (ate there 2x) the rooms were clean and comfortable and overall very nice, roomy bathrooms with large all tiled shower and housekeeping was very attentive and friendly. Easy walk to convention center, metro rail and Nicollet Mall for Dining!

The parking in the area is not great. The attendant at the lot across the street actually discouraged us from parking overnight-said they have had break ins. We parked in a garage diagonally across the street which felt a little safer but was filthy.
The hotel and room were beautiful, clean and well appointed. We felt fancy, especially at this price point!

Light/power switches in room were tricky for me. Spent too much x getting lights on & off in bathroom.
Good location-reasonable price for parking across the street. Loved the 2nd floor room-we didn’t hv to take elevator.

There was random smoke that filled the hall and got into the room. I called the front desk who said someone was checking it out but didn’t hear more about it.
Overall the hotel was nice and staff was great.

The mattress was extremely soft and obviously old. After one night, we informed the front desk and immediately they had the mattress replaced with a new one. Excellent service!
The room was not overly large but had adequate space for a king bed. It was very quiet, very clean and the staff were excellent.
