Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to rate and review your recent stay with us. Your kind acknowledgement of the service of our associates is very much appreciated. We love our fantastic location too and are glad to hear our dedicated team took such good care of you during your stay. In regard to the incidental rate discrepancy, the only reason I can give for this is a miscommunication between our property and third-party partner, which in this case was Booking.com. The $250.00 amount was just recently rolled out and, at the time of your reservation, Booking.com might not have had the chance to update the information on their website. Rest assured, we have shared your constructive feedback with them–as well as other third-party partners–to make sure this does not happen again. I do see that on Friday, July 25, our property provided the following message through the Booking.com message thread: ..."At check-in, we require a credit or debit card to be charged a temporary security deposit. Prepaid cards are not accepted for this deposit. This charge is for $250 per room stay to cover incidentals and possible damages during your stay in addition to room/tax. At checkout, any unused funds will be released to you in 3-7 business days according to your card company and bank’s processing of returned funds." While we are very sorry for any miscommunication, please know that we do try to consistently deliver a superior guest experience. Should you find yourself back in the Twin Cities, we hope you will give us another chance to prove that our product and service can live up to your expectations.

In regard to the crowds, our downtown location can mean extra activity–especially on weekends–as much as we try to contain it. While we regret that we were unable to address the food and beverage concern prior to your departure, please know we will tweak our current floor plan to help improve the flow and partitioning of our breakfast area, based upon your feedback. Although disappointed to hear about the food and beverage issue, we're grateful that we were able to make most other aspects of your stay enjoyable. We hope you will allow us another opportunity in the future to demonstrate the high-level of service our guests have come to expect from Embassy Suites Minneapolis Downtown.

All information and pricing are readily available either online, in-person or over-the-phone, but we are very sorry for any miscommunication on nightly rates or other error on our part. While we regret that we were unable to address the issue prior to your arrival, please know our engineering department has since fixed the problem, and we thank you for bringing the matter to our attention. I note that you stayed in one of our king corner suites with breathtaking vantage points of iconic Hennepin Avenue. I'm glad you enjoyed the sights of all the local landmarks!
