Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicMinor point that the beds were rather small - fitting two adults wouldn't be easy. No issues with the key codes until departure day - an hour before check out, they stopped working - other guests had the same issue. Delayed us slightly and not a big deal, but if you were catching a flight, it wouldn't be easy.
Excellent location in the middle of downtown Ann Arbor. The flat was great - clean, large, small terrace and full kitchen.

United StatesAll good.
Excellent location, central and close to coffee/restaurants/bars. Access is super easy provided you read all the small print. I think it should be made a little clearer that access codes require a #... that bit is fairly easy to miss first time of reading. The apartment is well appointed and very clean. The space is good and the light is great.

United StatesThe virtual concept without on-site hospitality staff only works if the digital cobstrucr for check-in times and systems works. It didn't on my check-in, and I know it didn't for others checking in near me. Once solved, it was fine, and text worked for questions and answers. There were nice sized rooms/efficiencies but sometimes missing things that would make sense, like a desk with zero lighting, for example. Also, the fact that they took a $250 hold for a one night stay and sit on it for SEVEN days (not the normal 2-3) is seriously wrong. It's a new hospitality model that has the potential to be quite good. Right now, it's just good. But I would try it again.
I liked the cebtral location, the size of the room/unit and the price value. The virtual staff was helpful when issues came up and they were responsive. Space was modern, if spare. The amenities of the room were excellent (full kitchen, washer dryer erc) were excellent for the price point. Facility was clean and well maintained.

United StatesWe cannot even STORE BAGS til your 4:00 check in. We always arrive from DC at 1:00. It’s annoying and a bummer. Can’t go out for breakfast and then return for bags on checkout day. You cancel the code as soon as we leave the apt on check out day. It has happened TWICE now

United StatesUpon arrival in our 90 in tall van, we discovered that it was too tall for either of the neighboring parking garages. Upon phoning, the agent could only repeat the `fine print' about not taking responsibility for parking. This was quite stressful, until we met someone on the street who could direct to a parking facility on an adjacent street. Parking is the first issue a guest faces and should receive clear instructions about options in the vicinity of the unit.
It would have been helpful to have some orientation to the remote identification system in advance.

United StatesDoors are thin - the party in the room across the hall could clearly be heard. The place is comfortable but somehow misses the mark (sorry to be so vague here). The AC was powerful (good) and couldn't be turned off (it could be turned down).
Place was clean, had a balcony that would open. Comfortable. Power AC for hot days. Full sized fridge, which was excellent.

United StatesWould have liked for there to be laundry soap to use.
After reading other horror storied about issues with door codes not working, etc., we were expecting the worst. But luckily, we didn't have any issues at all getting in. The codes worked fine and the room was very clean and spacious. The bed was also incredibly comfortable.

United StatesYour check-in process sucks. This is the second time we've stayed in this facility. Never did I receive anything pre-check-in. I followed all of the instructions I was given and still had to talk to someone to get things straightened out.
The room was great. It was located where we wanted to be.

United StatesWe were on the 2nd floor overlooking an alley, which meant that we heard the coming and going of garbage/recycling trucks at 6:30 AM every morning. The walls are also thin, so we used a white noise machine each night. The drapes were thin, so there was a lot of low light throughout the night. The air conditioning was a split unit that worked, but the heat in July made it less optimal for our visit.
Location downtown was great! Very close and walkable to Main Street. There was a full kitchen, which was nice. The fitness center was also really nice.

United StatesCommunication with the remote hosts was the only problem, and I encountered a bunch of other new arrivals over the course of the weekend who were also trying to figure out how to access their rooms.
The location couldn't be better, and the apartment was clean and equipped with everything one could need including washer/dryer. Great bed, too!

PortugalThe keypad at the front door and the door to our room didn't work for us. We had to wait about an hour to check in and get settled. The staff was on it on a Sunday evening, to their credit, but this was annoying and we didn't get the room we booked. Frustrating and disappointing start to our stay

IrelandThe checking in process while seemingly streamlined is a bit laborious, multiple calls and emails, maybe it was just me. Also seen a lot of people struggling with getting in the door/lift etc. The keypads are too small for people with lessor visual acuity as FYI. Small things but holding it going from a 9 to 10

CanadaThe security code doesn't work at first place, but happen to see the on-site staff who is very frindely and helpful to solve the problem in time.
The location is perfect, in the center of downtown, very closed to the UofM campus. The suite room is very spacious, clean and rich of necessities for a family stay in the kitchen, living room and bed room. The hotel is nice of noise isolation. We came as a family including a golden retriever who pretty enjoy the stay here. The public parking lot is very convenient, just 1 min walk away, and parking fee is affordable.
