The rooms were up a pretty steep hill and the office was down so you had to walk up and down for everything. We were warned about bears being at the property that day, so that made it a little uncomfortable walking alone. The breakfast selection was very limited.

The room was very nice, especially for the price. The pool was also, great! The best part of our stay was the staff at Chalet Inn. Nikki, was extremely helpful, going out of her way to help us find places that’s aligned with our interest. Super cool and generous! We will be coming back, but she has go have the day off to hangout with us!

The only thing I didn't care for is that you have to check in 'next' door and to get there it's a steep hill so it's better to drive. This is also where the breakfast is so it's a bit inconvenient.

We really loved this hotel. It's very pretty, very clean, and very comfortable. The pool is gorgeous. It's a cute/quaint hotel and the scenery is awesome.

Staff didn’t follow instructions when we asked them not to go in the room and to leave the sheets and blankets outside in a bag. Never received blankets Wi-Fi didn’t work all trip either

We were out on the balcony and it was a wasp nest out on there and it was a bunch of wasps out there so I went and complain and they sent me to another room, which is what the same thing another wasps nest it was bad so we decided to not fool with it.

I liked windows but for those who want views no views out windows at all, bed was ok, I did wake up and roll over a lot, steep walk to Gatlinburg downtown, not mobility friendly but not too far to downtown, blackout curtains need a blackout valance on top

I saw a cockroach in the bathroom sink first thing in the morning after the first night we stayed. Not a clean as it should be. The bottom level rooms have no view on the balcony. Also there is NO front office! Regardless of the time of day or night you arrive or leave you must check in/check out at the Econo Lodge at the bottom of the hill from the Chalet Inn which was very inconvenient but not a big deal due to the price being such a great deal for right before the 4th of July.

It was a great deal for two nights! Also I will say the lady at the Econo Lodge got us checked in fast! The room has a balcony but no view. There is compli6mentary breakfast 7-10AM. Inside the room there is a blow dryer, safe, microwave, mini fridge, desk with chair, Ice bucket (ice is up front to fill bucket), cold air, & a flat screen TV mounted on the wall. Overall not bad for the price!

Needs a new mattress, its worn down. There was a foul smell that come from the bathroom when the people up above us took a shower, or flushed the commode. Where the tub is, could use a little more air flow

I can't really think of anything we didn't like. Oh yeah, the outlets by the beds and lights are not working. Would have been nice to have them but we managed.

Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Descent walking distance of you park at the office. All of the staff were exceptionally nice, very friendly. This was our 2nd time staying. Honeymoon and this our 3 year anniversary.

I love the quiet feel of this property, and the views were also amazing. Lots of wildlife, views of the gondola, and in close walking distance to all shops and restaurants.

I wish I’d realized I needed to check in at a different hotel - only a minor inconvenience though. There were also no pool towels on the second day, but that didn’t prevent me from a refreshing swim!

This was the BEST location - just far enough off of “the strip” to feel like an escape to nature, but walking distance to dinner every night. The room was large and comfortable, and the balcony added a much appreciated indoor-outdoor experience. It’s also one street away from the entrance road into National Park (and a beautiful walking trail along the river), so no battling traffic when going to/coming from the trails.
