Upon arrival, I had to go back to the front desk to request towels (only provided 1 bath towel) and coffee cups (none provided). There was no visit from housekeeping to replenish items during our stay. Spa was out of order the entire stay and the pool was drained the second day we were there.

The breakfast was nice; however, there were several baseball teams staying there at the same time and food wasn't replenished in a timely manner.

A number of things were not working: the credit card reader, the coffee machine in the lobby. They also were a non-cash organization which meant we could not get small change for large bills. The furniture in the breakfast seating area is in dire need of overhaul.

We liked the variety of items for breakfast. The room itself was fine.

The bathroom needs a little work, toilet seat doesn't fit that toilet and the there's rust on the top of the tub under the valve, the drain cap was removed so the tub flows ok during a shower. Wall paper is peeling and the ceiling needs some repairs. > The desk chair was stuck UP under the desk, the up/down function was not working. > The Cable for local channels was not working at all. > The hot tub was shut down, broken tile all around it.

The GOOD news was the staff were all GREAT to work with on our arrival. > Location was what I needed for this trip, made things easy for us. > The good news in the bathroom was the water pressure/temps and shower head worked fine. > I'm glad the WIFI worked for looking around for restaurants and shopping.

The pool was not very clean. The room was good enough, but one of the drapes was falling off the wall and the shower curtain had been ripped out and poorly repaired, causing the curtain to hang oddly and it needed to be clipped to the grab bar in order to keep the water in the shower. As I was cleaning up the room, i found someone else’s shirt and food wrappers under the bed, so clearly the room was not as well cleaned as it should have been prior to our arrival. I brought the damages to the staffs attention but chose not to move all my family’s items to a new room. If I had noticed the uncleanliness earlier, I may have changed rooms.

I reserved and paid for a king room but was given a queen size single bed. The bed itself was so squishy and soft it was terrible. I asked to be moved to a king room, but none were available. There was no place to sit for two people, and the lighting was terrible.

There were only green apples to eat and I can not have these at all. Would have loved a red apple.

Breakfast was great!! Enjoyed the cheese omelet and sausage. Bagels and cream cheese really hit the spot.

The hot tub, which is why I chose Fairfield Inn, was not in use. I had to change rooms because the heat wasn't working. My final morning, thankfully, the deadbolt on my door broke and I could not shut the door.
