Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Cold oatmeal, no real nice selection to eat.
Breakfast was a minus. The oatmeal was cold and lumpy, though you did have a lot of choices to add to it. For the price we paid for the room, the breakfast was lacking.

the pull out bed did not have clean sheets or a blanket or pillows - we asked for clean sheets, pillows and a blanket and we got the sheets, but no pillows or blanket - it appeared that this was standard that they did not initially provide this with pull outs - we expect all to be in the room and no need to ask for - this was a big miss - we were also given 3 towels for 5 people and asked twice for a couple extras and did not receive - so being stingy with towels seems excessive.

I was paying for the room in cash. A credit card had to be run to secure the room and I was ok with that. Tey accepted my cash payment in the morning. I was told nothing would processed against my credit card. In addition to my cash payment, my credit card was also charged. This resulted in some severe problems for me.

The breakfast was horrible! Ran out of food so there was only cereal. Even if it was stocked, it was pretty lame compared to other hotel breakfast.

The breakfast was a different story. The eggs and sausage was cold. The lady who does the breakfast was not very friendly.
The hotel was clean, quite and the price was good. I would stay there again.

The mattress on the sleeper sofa...
The room was very nice there was enough space for everyone. It was quiet and there was no noise from other guest. It was located close to good food and easy access to the interstate.

Walls are thin!! There were some lights that didn’t work in the room. I like my room cold and the comforter just didn’t meet my expectations.
The suite was big and spacious. Had 2 tv, sink and a pull out couch bed.

I was disappointed that the "hot breakfast" did not include meats on either of the mornings I was there. That was strange, as I have never heard of a hot breakfast that did not provide either sausage or bacon (or both). Typically a hot breakfast includes waffles, too (which also was not available), and sometimes biscuits with sausage gravy (also not available). The hot breakfast was one of the things I was looking forward to most and the #1 reason I picked this hotel over the others. Keeping scrambled eggs in a warmer is not the same thing as serving a hot breakfast and should not be advertised as such. The only hot options were scrambled eggs one day and a potato/egg mix the other day. Admittedly, there were a few sausage crumbles in that potato/egg casserole, but not much (there were a lot more veggies and potatoes than meat), but that is definitely not the same thing as serving sausage or bacon.
Almost everything about my stay was good. Very friendly and efficient reception staff. Well-maintained and clean facility. Easy access to the interstate and restaurants, and also very close to the IWU regional education center. Ample handicapped parking very close to the entrance. I did not use the free wi-fi because it had no password of any type and therefore was ripe for security threats.
