The breakfast was ok. The juice machine didnt work and the toaster didnt toast the bread on both sides. There was warm orange juice in a pitcher. They can surely afford to replace the toaster and have cold juices.

The bed was comfortable, nice staff, and nice cold AC and it was clean.

The room was nice but the beds were hard. The shower head did not function correctly. Also, the tile in the shower was not clean. Also, went down stairs to buy ice cream and it was melted in the package.

Rooms could do with an update as it felt like it had been well used. Probably costs a little too much for what it is.

Location is ideal as it’s next to plenty of shops and food outlets. It is also right by the main road whilst being far enough away to get zero noise from it.

We were told that Christmas Day breakfast would be grab and go and not hot. Then when we came down to load our car, we noticed they were serving a hot breakfast. Not happy, especially after we paid for a hot breakfast. I did not like being placed on the 4th floor. It was too hot. The elevators were too hot. I prefer the 1st or 2nd floor. You need at least 4 luggage carts at the hotel, 2 don't work. We had to make 4 trips to our car. The lighting is not good in the room, too dark in the room and bathroom. This was not a good stay. Thankfully next Christmas we won't have to travel. We can enjoy our home.

I appreciate being able to check in early so we could make more room in our car for family.

The bed was too hard, and it was not comfortable to sleep on. My body hurt after sleeping on the bed. I woke a few times because I hurt.

We liked that the staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean. The location is good.

That you can only adjust the thermostat up or down by 10 degrees each way, no in between.

Breakfast was good. Nice variety. I liked that it stayed open a little later on the weekend. I also enjoy that the hotel provides nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash in NORMAL size bottles for you to use while there.

I have stayed here a few times now when I come in to Austin for work and do not want to drive back to San Antonio. This location is very convenient. It is a very quiet location which is a bonus for me. I am out early the next morning for work. I love the location of the pool in that it does not cause undue noise for the rest of us, especially now in the summer. I always ask to get a room away from it too which helps and this has always been accommodated.

I didn’t like the quality of the breakfast items very much like the omelette and sausage. I would have liked flavored creamers for my coffee. Also, there were no waters in the room and no disposable cups in room to get water from sink.

The dry bar light in the room remained on 24 hours, with no switch available to turn it off. While the light did not keep me awake, and functioned as a sort of night light, I feel it would have been nice to be able to switch it off. Another minor issue: the fire door at the end of my floor (3rd) was continually propped open over my three-day stay---in spite of my closing it repeatedly to conform with the large instruction printed on the door: "KEEP CLOSED." I don't know if this was a housecleaning practice or possibly venting for a new carpet...but it was annoying to see it open every time I approached it to enter the stairwell. Eventually I gave up closing it and just left it open, because it seemed to me that it was being propped open by staff for some reason. Nevertheless, I felt uncomfortable about leaving it open.

The location was perfect for my purpose, which was to visit family in the area. The breakfast was fine with a good selection of options. The dining area was large, affording plenty of room for guests to find table seating. WiFi signal was strong and the TV equipment was modern, with excellent cable and streaming-service capabilities. I liked having a laundry on the same floor.
