Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe Bonvoy customer service had indicated I was set to a 2pm checkout, but the front desk said I would have to wait on other people that had requested to see if they "showed up"..I had booked 2 months in advance and requested such-qas advised to check back later. I did receive the early check-in I had requested through my Bonvoy membership. When I checked back, a different front desk person said I wasn't a Bonvoy member and couldn't have late check out. I then provided her my member number to which she then replied, "Oh, at this level you can only get a 12pm checkout". I found it offputting and had planned to be able to stay later following the event from the previous evening. Only pork meat products were available at breakfast - the employees indicated turkey sausage would be in the next day, Monday, as they rotated on what meat was provided - seems pork-free should be a standard option.
The rooms was nice, the bedding was comfortable - pillows a little too "pillowly" but all very nice. The facility was clean as well. The valet service and that whole crew was amazing.

When I called to possibly cancel due to bad weather that we thought was coming and ruining our stay, the staff was very professional and accommodating. I did not have to cancel and I am glad I didn't. Everything was good.

Location - I arrived on Birmingham by Amtrak, and the station is only a block away. Comfort and cleanliness were very good, as was breakfast.
