Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast was good, I would like to have bacon and/it sausage, though.
1st think I noticed was the cleanliness of the hotel. My wife and I are both in housekeeping so it's easy for us to notice things that haven't been kept up. We did not, everything was very clean. The housekeeping staff obviously care about what they do, GREAT JOB!!

Cleaning of room only twice during an 8 day stay. Also, when cleaned items were not restocked: coffee, cups, washcloths, shower mat.

Nothing significant really.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained. If you like soft beds (we don’t), these were probably luxurious. Very convenient fridge and mw in the room. We didn’t use the pool or fitness room but they looked very nice and well kept. The location was absolutely perfect—close to downtown and facilities but quiet and low traffic area, very easy to get around.

I loved the room, the areas to sit in the lobby and the cleanliness of the entire building. I will recommend your hotel to everyone.
The young lady behind the desk, I believe her name was Courtney, but I am not sure. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Every time I saw her she was smiling, happy and helping people. She helped us coordinate two birthdays at the hotel and went above and beyond what she was supposed to be doing. I told her I absolutely loved her. I would go back to the hotel just to see her. I was there to surprise my son who lives in Midland and she even helped with the surprise. She is awesome and I hope she gets some recognition from this answer.

Light bulb needed replacing, but we didn’t take the time to notify anyone. The room was a little pricey.

Breakfast ended at 9:30am. For the price you'd think they could run this to 10 or 10:30am. We missed it as we slept in a touch and then got ready. We were told it was 9:30.. just felt it wasn't vacation friendly.
Very clean and comfortable. Location downtown is very nice. Parking very good . Staff pleasant and friendly. 1st floor fairly quiet midweek. Good coffee in the morning. We were able to check in an hour early after calling them ahead of time. Big showers, mirrors didn't fog.

The breakfast was really good and had lots of options. The room was comfortable and up to date. The pool was well maintained and accessible. The location in downtown Midland is hard to beat. Definitely on our list of places to stay again.

We had issues with the room fridge. Either it would freeze contents or not refridge at all. Very disappointing. We did tell staff.
