We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe breakfast was underwhelming. They touted having fresh fruit but there was no fruit at all. There were toppings that seemed to be for yogurt but there was no yogurt. The staff member who was tending the breakfast area seemed to have an eye on the clock and a bit of stinginess with setting food out. The second that breakfast was over, she had everything pulled and there was nothing accessible. It felt like the BIG BROTHER of BREAKFAST was watching like a hawk. Not very relaxing way to start the morning. BUT, my main priority for hotels is clean & safe and courteous and that was my overall experience.
We came to this hotel after leaving another one in walking distance that was awful. We checked in late at night but received good service from the front desk. We were relieved that the hotel was clean and smelled fine. We used the pool in the morning before we checked out and that was a nice feature. There were no towels in the pool area but we did find someone to remedy that. What we liked best was the clean, quiet, comfortable room.

United StatesThe check in. We booked and paid through Booking.com website in May. The clerk advised the Mastercard on file was denied. I explained I paid via AX. She then said it was the Mastercard given by Booking.com for the reservation. She would not give us a room until it was resolved. I said that’s between you and Booking.com as I paid them and you showed our reservation. After I tried to contact Booking.com through chat and text, 30 minutes later the clerk gave us a room. I don’t know how it was resolved but it wasn’t anything I could do about it. If this is a problem with Booking.com you should have a solution or not allow your property in their system.

United StatesWell, when I first went up to the hotel desk to check in, I gave the lady my confirmation number and all my information about booking.com. As she looked on her computer, she could not find me anywhere in the system. Obviously, I was very upset because I had my confirmation number and such. I didn’t feel very welcome at that point she told me I was going to have to contact booking.com as I started to write a note to booking.com. The lady said that she found my reservation underneath Sue Kornexl instead of Kornexl, Sue. Her change of attitude with me was completely different after that so, I guess the problem was really with your company putting in my name incorrectly. I’m happy to do this survey because it really bothered me. Otherwise, I haven’t had trouble with booking.com before, but I might be a little skittish the next time I book with you guys. Thanks!

United StatesThe staff was incredibly helpful. I was sick and missed my connecting flight and had to stay in Detroit overnight. They let me in a room early in the morning to rest and even checked on me. I can't tell much about the facilities since I was sleeping the while time but I would stay here again because of how accommodating they were.

United StatesVery misleading, as it was listed as "Free Parking" but only while you were staying. The area is near the airport and many of the hotels have a stay and park for free, so when I booked and saw "Free Parking" I assumed that this is what it meant. There was even a question that asked if we needed extended parking during booking and I confirmed yes and added the dates, it did not state that parking would be a fee until I checked in to the hotel.
Location was great, and the free breakfast was helpful while travelling. Front desk clerk was very kind and provided information for ordering in dinner.

United KingdomThe room was not serviced after the first night, which is not a problem to us, however, we could obtain coffee from reception but for some reason, not creamer. A minor irritant!
The hotel was in a good location close to the airport so it was quick to reach there late at night and to return early in the morning. The room was very good - we were upgraded since the room key to the first room we were allocated did not work, twice. The breakfast was of an appropriate standard. Value was reasonable.
