    Very Nice Room in the best located Hotel in Boston

    One of the three elevators was not working, so a bit delayed the elevators. The fact that the room with two double beds we reserved was not available and our daughter had to sleep on a twin rollover bed also makes it impossible to give a 10. Some work in Copley Square limited a better view, but not the hotel problem.

    Room was very nice. Big and everything you need. It's an old building but still they keep it very current. Great at front desk (not so much at concierge-bell boys). I believe a lady by the name of Bethlehem was superb at check in. The room we requested was not available but she managed to upgrade and included a nice amenity for the trouble. Location is the best in Boston.

    I felt blindsided by the bill which included a $623.20 “Package Charge” no explanation was provided when questioned about it.

    The room needs urgent updating! Not what one expects. Threadbare carpet. Peeling paint

    Room service should be open past 10 PM in any hotel anywhere, especially in a city like Boston. We are very disappointed to learn that on a Friday night the room service closed by 10 PM.

    Absolutely beautiful property in the center of Boston. Perfect location to visit all the different neighborhoods and sites in the city.

    Awesome location. Bedroom was a good size , very clean and my queen bed was very Comfortable. Loved the restaurant, Breakfast was really good and the bar was great for a nightcap.

    Rooms need some upgrading especially USBs and charging points also for international travellers.

    there is no better place to stay for the Boston Marathon and the resident dog Cori is adorable. Very comfy rooms, great staff.

    I understand that during the pandemic, mini bar/fridges were removed. Please put them back in the rooms.

    Location is perfect. Old fashioned service which is hard to find nowadays.

    There wasn’t anyone to take my bags at checkin on St. James. My room was tired. Hot water extremely slow…. No in room refrigerator or amenities.

    There was a lot of hallway noise. Could hear loud talking of people coming and going in the middle of the night.

    Location and beautiful building. Gym was wonderful.

    Not much can be done about construction outside my window but it was a bit noisy. The room next to me had a small dog that barked all day while the owner was gone. I love dogs and felt bad for the little guy.... Not the hotels responsibility and it was nice and quiet at night.

    The hotel is beautiful and has the old historic charm that was so nice and I do appreciate. The staff was wonderful and so kind and helpful. Location was great!
