We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesCouldn’t even get checked in. Tried contacting the owner of the property no response. It was an apartment so I decided to open the outside door just to set the alarm off having the cops show up and explain that I wasn’t breaking in. Owners didn’t respond in the hour of trying to contact them. Had to contact booking.com just to get the issue resolved. Because of the lack of communication and convenience of the host it caused me to be an hour and a half late to the concert I was in Cincinnati to see. The worst experience I’ve ever had traveling because of this host alone. Would NEVER recommend this property to anyone. Also wasn’t in the best of areas.

United StatesThe instructions from the host on how to get in were lacking. When we asked for clarification on where to park and how to enter, we were given the answer, I provided you the instructions. Someone moved out of a parking spot and we just decided to try the door which lead us to the upstairs door. Simple communication would have made this much better. Stating both apartments use the same front door and once inside go to the upstairs apartment. And letting us know when the driveway became available to park at. After driving for 4 hours figuring out the puzzle was not what we wanted to do. Those little pieces of communication were all that was lacking.
The house was beautiful, clean, well equipped. Plenty of room for my family and dogs. They even had pet bowls for the dogs! The deck was gorgeous.

This was the first time we did something like this and it was great! The host was on site and available if we needed her but we were fine. She made sure we had everything we needed. We loved that she didn't charge extra for our dogs and didn't have a limit. We have 3 dogs and this trip was to pick up our 4th. Staying in a hotel we would have needed 2 rooms and still pay extra fees for the dogs. Even her extra cleaning fee was very reasonable. We tried to clean up when we left and vacuumed the leaves we tracked in from the deck. If we go back to this area with the dogs, we will definitely stay here again.

United StatesApartment was not ready until 6:30. We arrived and it was not ready so we went to dinner. Had to call again to find out if it was ready and they were still working on it when we went back. No remotes in the bedrooms. Few electrical outlets that actually worked. Overall not what we expected.
